Decided to change from a hot water tank to a tank-less system. Reliance sent Scott Donaldson to our home to determine feasibility. Scott was not 100% sure whether a tank-less system could be installed because of the venting requirements so he called and had an expert at the house within 30 minutes. While waiting for Mark Chevalier, we discussed our 20-year old furnace and A/C and Scott explained the new incentives from Union Gas and the government to rent a new system. As it turned out, we were unable to install a tank-less system - but due to the age and size of the current tank, Mark came back that same day and installed a new smaller hot water tank. After reviewing the furnace/A/C program, we decided to have a new heating and cooling system installed as well. The next day, the furnace was installed. And after giving me the weekend to prep the area for the A/C (needed to remove a hedge :)), the A/C was installed on Monday. Although I have had numerous back and forths with The Reliance billing department (not Scott's fault !!!), everything has been straightened out; the rebates are in process; the 1st bills are correct; and we are quite happy with the installation and the new systems we had installed. Would recommend Scott to anyone interested in a new heating and cooling system - ask the questions and he'll answer them. He ALSO responded very quickly to any phone calls or emails.

Through Reliance, Absolute Comfort was chosen to install our new furnace and A/C. I asked that the installation be done over 2 days (Friday and a Monday) and they were very accommodating. Shane and Trevor installed the furnace on Friday and ensured that I was totally aware of what was happening. Shane also took the time to explain the features of the new furnace. On Monday, Shane returned with Dustin to install the A/C. Once again everything went very smoothly and again Shane explained everything I needed to know. In addition, Shane was very accommodating with regard to a few requests to ensure a better operating furnace and A/C. Would recommend Shane and Dustin/Absolute to anyone doing and install.

Had signed up for a Tank-less water heater. The serviceman Mark Chevalier (0245) showed-up to check the venting and install. It was determined that we were unable to adequately meet the requirements for venting for the tank-less and therefore it could not be installed. Owing to the numerous tanks and repairs we had experienced over a 10 year period, Mark asked and arranged for installation for a new conventional hot water tank. He did a great job. Answered ALL my questions. He left the place clean and ready to use. Would highly recommend Mark - ANYTIME !!
