After we added a solarium and basement to house some 20 years ago, the new portion of the basement started to accumulate puddles, at first and now pools of water. I am pleased to say that after 4 months of having the basement repaired, some of which was during the rainy period and water still seeped in, the concrete has finally set and the basement is dry. I am not happy about the coarseness of mixture used for the finishing layer. They did not grind and smooth the surface which is rough and unpleasant to walk on. For the cost of the job, I expected Clarke to leave the disturbed section of the floor, smooth like the original.

Nanette always gives good advice and suggestions based on what you describe as your wishes. I also love that her subcontractors are reputable, do good work and clean up after themselves. The pieces recommended were good quality and efficient on resources. I am pleased that I could set the tone for price and she tries her best to get the value.

Ron provides more than the other contractors quoted on and although it did cost more, in the long run it was worth it because of the quality, guarantee and durability. He put his experise into improving, not just renovating, for example he suggested lights in the shower and a timer switch. He also assisted with colour co-ordination and new products available to suit your needs. Great finish.

Nanette sure knows her colours. She has vision, is sensitive to your requirements and is decisive while taking into consideration the existing furnishings where possible. She is patient and offers many tips to enhance and beautify the home. She has good contacts that provide good service too. I was very pleased with the results.
