Absolutely terrible company. Had a service call placed, and was not informed of the service charge. Tech was in my home for less than 5 minutes and stated “this is a known issue, unplug your appliance for 24hrs” and then proceeded to bill me their full service charge. Called the main number for my area (Oshawa/Whitby) and requested to speak with the manager, was told I was. Spoke with an extremely rude man, who said “what would you like us to do, stand there and defrost it for you”. I also let him know that there are many service companies that state on their website that they do not bill if they do not repair. He continued to try and argue with me. He apparently missed the point entirely, and has now lost my business, as well as referrals. Not only did they bill me for nothing, the ‘manager/owner’ lacks common sense, and customer service. I do not expect things for free, however billing me $62 to tell me to unplug my fridge for a day is outrageous.
