I would never build with McKee again… it the second time we had built a home so we expected a cetin amount if stress, but we where never prepared for what McKee offered. I will list a few of the issues below * Forgot a window when framing - was fixed after we informed the builder * Forgot to install phone jacks in the home - fixed by running phone cord threw the cold air intake vents and cutting holes in the floor and wall. * Flooring in the home installed 3 times, 1st time it was damaged by trades, 2nd time it was laid incorrectly and had to be removed, 3rd floor still in the home but it was glued incorrect and the seams are lifting. * ½ wall going up the stairs did not meet code and had to be repaired after possession * countertop was installed to low and appliances did not fit. These are issues from a very long list. We have been in our home for a 11/2 years and have had over 20 trades days and are still waiting to have a few issues dealt with. Be very careful when choosing your home builder, do you research and ask for references you can call.
