Artisan is pleasant to deal with if you’ve got the money. Otherwise, you might want to look around. Our condo hot water tank failed in January 2017. Add in the rest and you get $420. Jeff at Artisan (a straightforwardly polite guy) says they buy from suppliers and add a 20% markup. I’ve no doubt that he’s telling the truth, but I think that service suppliers have an obligation to their customers to do a sensible job of sourcing supplies. They need to pick up their game.
