We have an older home, over 50 years old. The house seemed to be colder in one area during winter or warmer during summers so we knew we couldn't hold off insulating any longer. When we had the gentleman from Enerliv come in, he showed us how much insulation we had. In some areas of the house, we had 2 inches filling a 4 inch cavity. In other areas, the cavity was empty. No wonder the discrepencies. He clearly gave us the options of insulation products and what each entailed. We settled on using the cellulose and awaited their call as they said it would be sometime in mid-August. Sure to their word, we received a call and the next week, they were at our house filling the house with insualtion from the outside in. We have noticed a decrease in those hot/cold spots in the house over the last six months. The only thing I wasn't as impressed with was their cleanliness. They were clean around the larger areas such as the hole they had to make in the knee wall to blow in insulation via closed in area upstairs. However, I specifically showed the supervisor a corner in the kitchen where insulation was blowing into the cupboards because of a crack in the plaster wall. He told me he would have someone clean that up before they leave and it was still not done when I returned home from work. I know there will be areas of dusting afterwards but this area was a little more than expected. The rest of the work was pretty well done.

Cosmos employees from the estimation to the actual work to the after completion follow up were professional and courteous. John wasn't insistent when giving the quote. He took the time to hear our wishes and give us a quote comparable or better to others we already had. The men on the job ensured our needs for the installation as well as needs for the day (getting around the house) were met. They discovered a treasure hidden underground where they dug for the patio and asked us what we would like to do with it rather than keep it for themselves. We have a 6o' driveway and the patio was approximately as big. It was a big job but Armando and his crew kept a good pace and completed the job within the week. We had curious neighbours looking in on the project and asking for the name of the company so they can give estimates for their properties. Upon completion and approximately two weeks later, John returned to ensure we were pleased with the job. We and the neighbours watching the project were more than pleased with the work well done.
