Wow. I got myself into a bit of a panic after seeing puddles of water downstairs after my daughter's bath. Saw Noel from Hot Rod was local and sent him a message not expecting a quick reply at 9PM in the evening. He answered immediately and offered to get on a call. Over the next 30mins he helped me troubleshoot the problem and even suggested some easy fixes I could do myself. He did not even charge for the service, rarely do you see this kind of generosity and kindness. Beyond impressed. This is a guy you can trust! Highly recommended, will be back again.

Trenton is great at what he does. After initially doing a superb job with our hardwood floors, he has since come back twice to do spot repairs in areas damaged by other contractors. He is organized, brings everything he needs and always tidies up afterwards. Most importantly he does such a great job it is impossible to tell where he has replaced boards. Highly recommended.

I met with Greg this morning and was extremely impressed by his knowledge and professionalism. Our home inspector recommended we add a type of flashing to the siding on our house as there was some moisture seemingly getting into our garage. Greg looked at the situation carefully and advised that adding the flashing was unlikely to solve the issue and recommended an easy way I could resolve this on my own. After multiple bad experiences having different experts into the house recently, I was so thankful that Greg did not try to push an expensive repair on me. In fact he charged me nothing for his visit and advice. What great service, I will definitely use them again.

Trenton is really exceptional at what he does - he cares about his work and it shows. We chose Trenton based on his stellar past reviews and a word-of-mouth recommendation from a trusted friend. I'm sure many others have previously experienced nightmares with contractors, I know I have, but it was a completely different experience with Trenton. Trenton has a wealth of knowledge. He is more than willing to share information with you about how he would approach a task, even if you are planning to tackle it yourself. He also has a network of skilled tradesmen that he uses and that can be fully trusted. We gave Trenton and his sub-contractors free access to the house while we worked and I never once had any concerns. Trenton was patient with us while we vacillated on major design decisions. He provided helpful advice all along the way and alerted us to potential consequences of going in a different direction. I felt Trenton always provided me with the information I needed to make the decision that was right for us. He certainly understands that there is often not a right or wrong answer, only personal preference. Trenton was very responsive to communication, flexible on schedule and he was always on time. He was also very clear about expectations up front. Overall a great experience.

I have not yet hired Keith but I have been swapping messages with him and he has been extremely helpful. In my experience, you don't often get amazing service from someone you haven't even agreed to compensate. Having someone actually offer advice on how I can save money is not something you run in to often. Based on this alone I recommend considering Keith.

Egbert was fantastic to work with on our first home purchase. Very thorough but also very clear about what you can and cannot expect from a home inspection. He was very patient with our questions and very happy to discuss our concerns at great length. He was even happy to respond to several emails with follow-up questions after the inspection was complete. I highly recommend Egbert and wish him all the best with his business!
