When we moved into our house, our backyard had shaky steps leading out to a nearly uninhabitable chain-link fenced square. I went to my Danforth Lumber on the recommendation of a friend and have been very happy with them. The staff is helpful (if not overly outgoing) and patient with my ignorance and requests for advice. They sold me everything I needed to complete my new deck and fence, including the concrete, the wood and the fasteners. I'm sure I'll continue to shop there as long as we live in the neighborhood.

I had built a simple shelter for firewood, but the water that dripped from the eave splashed back onto the wood. Presented with this problem, Tarha at Danforth Roofing came up with a simple and elegant solution. Within 24 hours, the shop had fabricated a gutter that I could attach along the front edge of the shed that completely solved the problem. Highly recommended for quick service, practical solutions and a really friendly staff.

When we bought our house, we knew we only had about a year to replace the roof. We got a few estimates and went with Harp (the owner of BH Contracting.) He sourced all the workers (roofers, gutters, cedar shingle guy) and managed the entire process. We've been really happy with the roof and will continue to recommend him.
