For the first time in about 3 years, I decided to hire someone to close my pool as I did not have the time to do it myself. Before that, I used another local company that I always felt did a half assed job, really quick and cutting corners. I used Waterboy earlier this summer to help install a new pump and I was thoroughly impressed with the work and knowledge so I naturally turned to them to close my pool. To start, they showed up early and I felt bad as I had steps int he pool that I planned on moving over the weekend but had a stomach flu so did not get the chance. I told them I could get in the pool and do it myself but they immediately took action and pulled them out themselves. As they went through the process, they moved quickly and efficiently. I was sup prised when I walked outside and noticed they where working on a plug on my heater. They said they noticed it was leaking and i was using the wrong one. My old pool guy didn't even pay attention to the heater and simply just drained and tarped the pool. Then they cleaned the pool thoroughly as it was a little dirty and put on the tarp. I noticed they inspected the tarp thoroughly, which my old pool guy never did. They found a small whole which they immediately took action to repair. They also secured every square inch of corner and edges with extra water bags they brought. My old pool guy just used what we had and then used landscaping bricks to cover the rest which ended up coming upart partway through last winter. I was also sup prised that they thoroughly tarped all the equipment afterwards. I had inquired with my old pool guy in the past if this equipment should be tarped and he said no. After all of this, they cleaned and bagged my supplies and cleaned my shark pool vacuum! These guys are true professionals and really go above and beyond! I will be hiring them moving forward for all of my pool needs. Great job guys!!!!
