DC Moving owner Darcy Blampied misleading and untrustworthy
This person lowballs an estimate for moving services in order to obtain a signature and obtain your property; once acquired the mover then holds it (your property) hostage until paid a much higher sum than originally quoted. No proof of the added costs is provided . BBB is bias against consumers since they are supported by business memberships so there is no help there. This "business" thinks that it's remote location hides it's dishonesty from exposure. Beware of this untrustworthy person.

I did an in home estimate and Edward told me he had 250 lbs in a storage unit, I asked to see it when doing my quote but he did not want to show me. Then on loading day we went to pick up the goods at the storage location and he actually had over 2000 lbs in the storage unit. I informed him his goods would be scaled and he would be charged for actual weight. He agreed in front of 3 witnesses because I informed him right away at the storage location that his weight would be higher before we even loaded. We got the weight, he was informed of the difference, he was delivered as scheduled and never disputed the charges. Then after the fact he makes false accusations and when he should of showed me the storage unit on estimate day. He was charged a fair price for the service he received.
