I moved last year and wanted to add a dimplex unit to my living room. Thanks to Toronto Comfort Zone my dream came true. Like so many people these days I was able to do all my research and decide exactly what I wanted online. However the "challenges" of ordering online made me realize that my needs would be much better served by finding a local retailer. Easier said than done... and I was really disappointed with the first few stores I called because they were charging significantly more for the unit that 4 online websites that deliver in Toronto. Ultimately I called the Dimplex head office and they referred me to Toronto Comfort Zone. I called Sonny and then went to visit his beautiful shop. He offered me a competitive price and also answered all of my questions regarding assembly and installation. I am so glad we connected. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for this type of product. Ticked all the boxes.... excellent customer service AND competitive pricing. Very glad I was able to support this local businessman.

This is the third time I have contacted Odd Jobs and the third time I have been very satisfied with the service. I recently moved and needed to have a dinner switch installed in my new apartment. I called last week and was able to schedule service within 72 hours. The Odd Jobs representative was efficient and very professional. It's great to know there's a company I can call for jobs (large and small) that I can trust and depend on. Highly recommend !!

I spent many months, earlier this year, searching for drapery for my new apartment. While I didn't want to re-invent the old pinch pleat drapes my Mom had in the 1980's I really do not like the current style (which seems to be everywhere) of grommet or rod pocket panels. I was determined not to give up and was so happy when I found Shades of Home's website. As soon as I saw their photos of the ripple fold drapes I knew I had to go and see them. Made an appointment and visited their shop on Caledonia Road. Met with Marie and she helped me select the perfect fabric for both my living room and bedroom. Marie also set up a time to meet me so she could take custom measurements. I was impressed because it's an older building an to say that each room had a few irregularities would be an understatement. Marie told me not to worry... and she was right. My drapes were delivered on the date promised and the installers were terrific. I am so glad that I took my time and even happier that I was able to work with Shades of Home. Great service... superb quality... highly recommend.

Odd Job was recommended to my by a trusted colleague and when I needed to have someone replace the shelving/coat rack in my closet I decided to give them a try. I discovered the problem on a Tuesday evening and sent an email with a photo and link to replacement product...and then followed up with a phone call on Wednesday. Kelly was very professional and was able to schedule an appointment for me that Friday. The work was done very well, at approx the same price as was estimated over the phone. I also had them pick up the materials required. It was a good experience. I will use them again and I do recommend !
