Burning up in Toronto

I requested that these "experts" recommend and install a new fireplace for a renovation that I was doing. I was very specific about my needs and wants. They sent a technician and gave me their recommendation. They told me that there was only 1 model on the market that was applicable for me. I agreed (what choice did I have?) and they installed. Upon seeing the unit for the first time (once it was finally installed) I quickly realized that this unit was not at all what I needed. I immediately got online and found at least 5 more units that could work for my needs. I told Fireplace 2000 that I wanted to return the unit (it had never been turned on). I told them that I would agree to purchase one of other the other ones from them (which they sold - don't ask me why they didn't suggest it to me) - they refused. They refused to return my money and they refused to take back the virtually useless fireplace. I ended up dumping it in their lobby and purchasing another unit from somewhere else. I've contacted visa to get my money back.
