10/10

We have had many friends and family members go through the process of building new homes in the past 5-10 years. Many of them have said how hard it is to build, that they fought with their builder every step of the way. I can assure you, that the building experience with Royer homes was a very easy one. Without question we chose the right builder!Right from the first meetings up to possession of our new home, it was very evident that Royer, and all of their employees, care very much about the quality of their product and they care just as much about getting their customers the home they want. It was very easy to trust that the right thing was being done for the home, and for us, at all times. Royer is totally custom, so there are no pre-determined plans that they try to fit to you. They take your interests and wants and design something that will fit you and your family in the best way possible. This was done over a few meetings, and drawings, and re-drawings, but at no point did it seem like this was an issue. Dan, Kristin, and Erin, had many great suggestions for us, and any thoughts that we had were taken seriously and worked into the plans. Royer wanted to get the best home for our family, and they definitely did. Our new home is so incredibly functional, we dont miss our previous home for a second. We have a great example of how much Royer cares about their customers. We moved in just before the Canada Day long weekend this summer. Once we got settled in and started to use the home we ended up having our plumbing back up, but didnt noticed this until 11:30 PM. I sent a text to Dan, hoping that we might get a response the next morning. Knowing how the Royer experience works, I shouldnt have been surprised that I received a call right away. Before 9:00 AM the next morning, Canada Day, Craig and a plumber were at our house diagnosing and fixing the problem. They had everything fixed in just over an hour. At the same time Dan had texted me that if the problem ended up being more serious than a quick fix, that I should take my family to a hotel and that he would take care of it. Thats what I call service!! I have serious doubts that many of the other bigger builders would have responded so quickly, fixed the problem, and offered another solution if it was going to take longer to fix. All of this on a long weekend. Thanks to Dan, Dennis, Kristin, Erin, Vern, Craig, and Alan and all the other Royer employees and trades people for making our house so great. They were/are all so easy to work with! We love our new home and love showing off Royers great work to all of our family and friends!

Company Response

Thank you so much for the kind words! It's so nice to hear that the new home is working so well for you and your family. Thanks for mentioning the design process and our response time on important issues. We love doing new and unique things, so working with you to come up with something perfect for you and your family is actually the best part of our job. With regard to handling issues in a timely manner... It is never easy to achieve that, but it's never acceptable not to. This is perhaps one of the largest purchases you will ever make and with that we have to handle issues with the same level of seriousness. We are consumers too and we know the frustrations of not getting proper service when a situation demands it. I am so thankful that our team took good care of you during what was an embarrassing ordeal for us and a big inconvenience for you. I am especially grateful of your extremely positive review even after that issue. I wish you years of wonderful memories in your brand new home!

Very Sincerely,
Dan Royer
