Our single outside tap had to be disconnected because the plumbing for the tap interfered with cabinet placement (cabinets trumped tap) so we took this opportunity to have two outside taps installed like a normal home. The plumber who did the kitchen reno was unavailable to do this job on our short timeline (before the long weekend) so I called Jason & he was able to come out that day for an estimate & the next day I set a time with Rachel for a few days later. He & his crew did a very good job. The taps look of better quality than "builder grade", the cost was very reasonable and we know have two outside water sources!

I had been working with another designer (no deposit) & when Ray said 4-6 weeks to get the cabinet/counter installation I went with GD so we'd be guaranteed a new kitchen for Christmas. Week 9 and the cabinets & counters were being installed so may as well have stayed with the first company and not have the struggle with Kim's "it can't be done" mantra (no alternatives were offered or she just didn't know how to do things that required imagination). There was no hold up on my side of the work, I was the general contractor and had my trades work done & they were waiting for the cabinets & counters to be installed so they could finish their work. The cabinets and counters are beautiful, the Kelowna company does excellent work & Harvest installed them just right. The missing shelves were finally ordered (in my opinion they should have been ordered in December when it was discovered and not a month later when I had to push it) and installed. Our kitchen looks amazing but the basic design was not Kim's nor is the colour palette. I consider them just the conduit for ordering the cabinets and counter.

Jared was easy to work with and did outstanding work. The biggest plus for me was creating space under the sink for a pull out garbage bin. Yes, a small thing that was a big deal for me in our small kitchen. The work site was clean & no tools were left behind! My only concern was connecting with him for another job connected with the kitchen reno, but when he did connect it turns out a series of unfortunate events means he can't meet our deadline. Which is unfortunate as I do like working with him, and trust him in my home without me there.

Chris (I call him "Other Chris") did amazing work. It is solid, level, and looks great. Chris I's solution to the different levels & tieing in between the windows was perfect. Both Chris' are easy to work with, completed it within the time allotted-even with me having to run out and get a couple more pieces because Other Chris could estimate that with the broken tiles there wasn't enough to salvage & complete the job. We supplied the tile & a box was dropped when we were unloading so not even close to being CJI's issue. The tile is "Grey Umber Mosaic" & is glass. Will definitely recommend & ask them to do any other work we may come up with.
