A shower drain became blocked in recently renovated rental apartment, shortly tenants moved in, due to a combination of household (soap, hair etc) and construction debris (plaster, grout etc). Peter from Plumbers Direct was the first to respond from the companies I called. He rerouted one truck to the job within the hour. The drain was cleared same day, leaving the tenant happy and myself relieved. Since I was not on-site, Peter and his team kept me updated of expected ETA, job progress and outcome. I can't speak to the price-point, but the service was fast and professional. As such, I would definitely use them again.

Select Granite was the second company contracted to complete my kitchen counters. The first company, Latitude Countertops, did a perfect job installing a large waterfall countertop, but were very expensive and not transparent about the customer owning the slab (turns out they have a secondary business selling remnants). Select Granite, on the other hand, were upfront about slab ownership, offering suggestions on how to use any remnants to get maximum value. They were fairly priced - if I had done the entire kitchen with them (waterfall included), it would have cost less than the first company. The templating and installation was prompt. Some minor adjustments/ follow-up was required, but addressed swiftly. Wish I had used them from the start.

Bit late in posting this review, but still very pleased with the final product. I get many compliments on the shower door. Alex was prompt in replying to my initial request for a quote and patient in exploring the various options (hinges, handles etc). The final quote was very reasonable vs. competitors, allowing for more expensive hardware to be installed. The installation was neat. After bemoaning having to redo the shoddy silicon work of the plumbers, Alex kindly left a silicon tube and blade with lots of advice on how best to remove and reapply silicon. I will use him again for future shower/glass needs.

Michael and his team installed roller blinds and fascia through out my condo. Final result was sleek and modern. All blinds come standard with metal strings, which are more durable and upscale than plastic. The company was prompt and professional from the start. Final installation was neat and relatively clean considering they were drilling into a concrete ceiling. Some minor wall damage from a slipped drill, but easily repaired.
