Had two small bathrooms that needed renovation after 30 years service. Was not looking to create spaces for write-ups in design mags. Looked about in much of the region. First bathroom store salesman entered home with question, "What are we taking here? $25,000 - $30,000.?" Searched hard for firms/plumbers who would come when they promised and give sensible quotes within reasonable time. Nada. Neighbor reported that he had found a new guy who seemed good. Word of mouth/personal recommendation means a lot to me. Man came and his site inspection and questions impressed as a thoughtful and likely a thorough worker. Two bathrooms on, have concluded that AMF is a master plumber. Some of the copper piping could be classed as works of art. AMF is not a lowest cost option but, where water leaks or fixtures need repairs, the costs are higher. Feel safe and secure with all the work and, some time on, everything done continues to work very well.

Shopped extensively for flooring material. With dog in house, floor had to be robust. Thought might do it myself; shopping/research revealed that likely would be a bad idea. Found a luxury vinyl floating/click product made in France (not China!) Expensive but quality difference from what I found at big box stores was obvious even to me. Main local dealer/installer came and quoted for rich people. Found another name on flooring product company's website. He came and very quickly gave reasonable quote based on product cost and his time/profit. Deal agreed by word! He advised when product arrived and gave choice of installation dates. Came when he said. Install was a bit more complicated as floor needed some leveling and part had to be glued due to front loading washer. Price didn't change! Weeks on (August 2018) am very happy; looks good, no movement, no squeaks. In repainting quarter round (can do that still!), have found that fussy bits in corners of closets very well done. He also provided a few spare tiles in case repairs are needed. Thoughtful. Very satisfied and highly recommend.

Needed a move of a small quantity of furniture from an estate, all very high end. Needed precise timing to meet estate trustee who had to supervise the removal. Tom Trucker's men appeared almost to the minute, were very gentle and covered everything with protective padding or plastic, all included within the cost. I almost didn't believe them but they did as promised and it all turned out fine.
