Looked initially to have two old inefficient single pane windows replaced as part of a complete basement reno. Genady provided me with a reasonable and fair quote, knew exactly what was needed to be done after asking essential questions including the type of windows we were looking for. Other than having to wait for the manufacturer, Genady and co-worker installed both windows, cleaned up the outside with proper finish, and even installed matching trim on the inside. All I was left with was painting the inside frame and trim. Super workmanship as expected. He's busy due to other projects but ALWAYS got back to me throughout the project. Much thanks!!!

Recently moved into a new-build home in Tiny, and had asked our builder for pricing in completing a simple "servery" in our basement to accommodate a regular stove and frig combo. This meant no upper cabinets. Price was over $10K. Looking around found pre-fab cabinets in the GTA, but wasn't happy with their selection of countertop. Several enquiries later, and a visit to DiPietra Design convinced us that they were the best price, service and provided us with a reasonable and fair quote for 13 lin. feet of Caesarstone quartz countertop (Atlantic Salt) to match our self-installed white shaker cabinets. They were more than accommodating with their scheduling, templating and advising us throughout the entire process (both Lindsey and Laurie were super friendly and thorough). Questions were also answered promptly and patiently. The installation was beyond expectations. Pino and helper (forgotten his name!) were also thorough in protecting our floors, stairs and basement. They made very little dust and mess, and cleaned up after themselves completely, and making sure we were advised of what was expected for letting the countertop set with the undermount sink, and how to take care of the quartz. This seems to be the pervasive "service" philosophy behind DPD!! Highly recommended.

NOTE: Modern Flooring - 4370 Steeles Ave W, Woodbridge, ON We had recently purchased a home, downsizing as we were recently retired. The older home needed new floors and steps to bring it back to contemporary life. I had called several of the higher listed (percentage-wise) from HomeStars, but I was not impressed by the pricing or not willing to visit our home in Bradford for a quote (too far; mileage; small project?). I was directed to Modern Flooring through an family member who had recently done their basement in laminate. I visited Modern Flooring's showroom to get an idea about types and colour, and both Sal and Daniel (owner/estimator) gave my some trustworthy recommendations. Daniel did a site visit, and provided us with a reasonable and acceptable cost for laying about 1000 sq ft of laminate (9" KronoTex Mammut Plus), 13 steps/risers in grey stained red oak, stripping and staining the existing handrails, replacing the front main post, and putting down what looked like miles of new baseboards and shoe molding in every room except the kitchen and bathrooms. Yaroslav (flooring contractor) arrived daily at 8am (even before I would show up), and I gained the trust in him to work alone in the house. He worked tirelessly for 5 days, and completed all the work as expected and on time. The floors and revitalized stairs look simply amazing and the recommendations from Daniel and Sal were spot on. As a small outfit out of Vaughan (Steeles and Pine Valley area) I'm surprised there aren't more reviews from proud customers as I am. While some will say laminates are easy to work with, it takes a team to make sure it gets done in a timely fashion and at a reasonable (so I think) cost. I'd definitely use them again and I highly recommend Modern Flooring as a potential flooring provider.

We were downsizing and moving to Bradford from Richmond Hill. We got rid of some stuff, but we were still left with a daunting task of moving three floors of furniture and 28 years of accumulation into less than 1/2 the space. Mariam provided us with a much more reasonable quote compared to others we had asked, and we felt extremely comfortable in his overall assessment of size and personnel to make the move completely seamless. Needless to say it's not as seamless as you wished for, but Cesar (supervisor) and his crew took care of everything and worked relentlessly from mid-morning until about 8PM packing, disassembling, storing and then moving everything into the smaller anticipated space without any stress. While we helped in coordinating some of the pieces into one of two moving trucks, Toronto Pro took care of what they do best ... move everything with purpose and focus. Everything fit into the two trucks other than a couple of pieces which could not be taken out of the basement due to size (home built work tables/benches). Damage was absolutely non-existent. That's how well they managed delicate pieces, and anything that looked like it could have been marked or bruised was wrapped in tape and/or protective blankets. Also if it wasn't for us asking whether they were going to stop for lunch or have a quick bite at the end of the day, they would have worked continuously. That's dedication to getting the work done. We'll be moving again in the early part of 2018, and although it might be a bit further than their normal services range, I was assured that they could certainly be called upon. I was in full confidence in their work ethics and care while moving our furniture, and I'd call them again without second thought. To Mariam and Cesar, thanks to you and team for a truly positive experience!

We were on a tight schedule, but between Wojtek (estimating) and Carlos & Mike doing the grunt work 3 days later, the installation went flawlessly and smoothly. Excellent teamwork!!! This was all done while other renovations were going on in the house with flooring and stairs, and I can't say enough about the quality of workmanship and efficiency that was provided in covering an attic (1100sqft) with R60 cellulose insulation, additional baffles, and sealing the attic door with more insulation and rubber seal. They even covered the skylight tower to reduce any heat/cold transfers. All of this without too much airborne dust, which they cleaned up thoroughly before leaving. They were in and out in about 2.5 hours between arrival (which btw they were earlier than expected!) and putting up the sign on our front lawn. Highly recommend EcoComfort for pricing, delivery of services on time, and making me one satisfied customer under the timing circumstances.
