remove old slate tile and replace with new slate
Andrew Fisico of Fisico Productions of Baysville Ontario was hired by our insurance company to make repairs to a slate floor in our cottage. After having difficulties setting up a date to start he final showed up to begin work. The cottage is used less in the fall so no one was up during the work. We called Andrew for updates yet he never returned one call. We emailed him for updates which were never answered. After 17 days with no communications we went up to the cottage to find that other than the old floor being removed no work had been done. The cottage was a mess and tools and garbage were left everywere. To date we have been unable to contact him. This is an update on this project. I have been meaning to write this for some time.The insurance company and us finally got in touch with Andrew Fisico. The insurance company wanted to go ahead with Fisico Productions despite the earlier problems with no communications. Andrew Fisico finished the job about two weeks later. Its was so poorly done that the insurance company refused to pay the balance, and payed to have the flooring Andrew had installed torn up and replace. A rating of zero is well earned by this contractor.
