Kevin built us a deck to maximize the ravine view and minimize the stairs. Installed with glass rail enclosed irregular shaped deck (approx. 300sq ft) with beamless construction above a walk out basement patio (approx. 450sq ft / 10 skids of stone) and 32+ ft of wall. The project was delivered on time and within budget which is amazing considering all the extras that had to be done during construction! The building inspection passed without a hitch. The building inspector liked the stairs built with 4 stringers, the 9 helical piles installed, he liked the extra support for deck and beefed up post support. His comment was: This deck is strong!
Kevin and his Crew were very respectful to all the neighbours and stopped to explain what and why. The neighbours gave us positive feedback saying the crew worked hard and knew what they were doing and enjoyed working together! Celebratory steak BBQ lunch meant that the Crew was comatose after lunch which caused half day work stoppage. Kevin is great to his Crew and said - It’s all good, I’ll pay to end of the day!
This is the second project built for us by Kevin. The first project done 10 years ago was also with a 200% rating was a front patio to improve curb appeal. It was 18 ft diameter circular front patio on 3 levels with a surround sitting wall. When we received comments: This is so inviting! We knew Kevin had hit the curb appeal bullseye! Kevin is an artist!
