10/10

I needed a ceiling repair in both my garage and living room/foyer from water damage a few winters ago. The damage in the living room included pealing tape and water stains on a stucco ceiling. The garage needed a new section of drywall when the old had fallen down from water damage. In addition to the repairs in the garage, I wanted to have the terrible builder mud and tape job redone with a coat of primer on the walls. I called several contractors but I was unhappy with the price or the demeanor of the folks who came out. I called up Finishes by Hahn based on home stars and Marc came over to give me a quote and explained the aspects of the job. I was very pleased with Marc and his quote. The work he and Dave performed was awesome. My stucco ceiling is repaired and even I can't tell it was ever damaged. I was worried that a patch job on stucco would be noticeable because of a) the different texture, and b) color that wouldn't match builder beige. Boy, was I wrong. Marc did an awesome job! My garage finally looks decent and the terrible builder finishes are gone (hanging tape, unprimed walls, cracked joints). The price Marc quoted was about $4000 less than the highest contractor, how insisted the only way to repair stucco was to strip is all down and redo it. Wrong. I would recommend Finishes by Hahn. The price was right, always punctual, job took al long as he said it would, and the results are A+!

Company Response

We always rise to the challenge. Stucco repair always seems to be in most difficult area (entrance / split level floor and 16 foot ceiling and open area). Lots of "practice" masking with plastic. We had a lot of fun. Thank you for trusting us with your project.
