I'm in love with my new front door! I had a builder basic door as most of the houses in my neighbourhood do and it was letting cold air leak in and had alot of condensation on the inside in the winter, so it was time for a replacement. My friend told me about Aurora as she had hired them to install her new door as well and I loved the look of her door as well (clean lines and modern look). I called around to several places through homestars and although Aurora was not the cheaper quote, i decided to go with them based on the rave reviews and my friends recommendation. I'm so glad I hired Aurora for the job because, my new door looks absolutely beautiful and stands out (in a good way) in the neighbourhood! It definitely adds to my house's curb appeal. The salesperson (Alon) was very friendly, professional and worked with me to get a look I wanted that fit in my budget. The installers showed up on time and were very professional and cleaned up after they completed the job. I noticed a spot on the door frame where the paint was nicked (the white base was showing) and called the office to ask them what to do. They ordered me a touch paint at no cost to me to touch it up myself. The lady i spoke with explained that if there were any further issues to call again and they would send someone to take a look and see what can be done. Which was very reassuring to me since it was not a small purchase. I would definitely recommend Aurora for their great service and professionalism!

I submitted a request via Homestars and received a call from Philip shortly after. He explained what work will be done, how long it will take approximately and what the costs were, based on what I wanted done (Duct cleaning, sanitization, dryer vent cleaning). I did not feel pressured at all into booking with his company as he told me to think about it and call him back if I decide to book. I spoke with a few other competitors and received quotes as well but, decided to book with Ductwise as Philip was very thorough in explaining what work will be done and how much it will cost. On the day of my appointment, Philip and his associate (Bailey) arrived 10 minutes early and they were friendly, professional and very respectful of my home. Philip explained every step of the way what they are doing as they were doing it. After the work was completed (approx. 1.5hrs), he went over the invoice and the total was exactly what he had quoted to me over the phone (as I had correctly counted the number of vents in the house when booking the appointment - so there were no additional costs). The reason why I chose to book with Ductwise, was Philip's professionalism, honesty, knowledge, thoroughness and the fact that he provided me with before and after pictures of my vents so that I could see the difference (there was years of build up that was most likely preventing my HVAC system from functioning at it's full potential). I would definitely recommend Ductwise and will definitely book with them again.

I have a 100% viscose rug and had spilled a pink drink on it about a year ago which had discoloured and matted the rug in that spot. After reading up on viscose rugs and finding out that it is a very delicate material that often discolours even if water is spilled on it, i was so discouraged and disappointed that my area rug will never look great again. I searched on google and found LoveYourRug. I read the reviews and read up on their services, etc and decided to call and schedule a pick up (as i live in Oshawa). They have a specific day that they are in the Oshawa area (a 3 hour window) which worked out perfectly with my work schedule. The driver called about 30 minutes before he arrived on the pick up day and on drop off day (at the top of the 3 hour window for both pick up and drop off), which was great! I received a call from a representative when they received and assessed my area rug and the lady explained that the spot with the stain will not go back to it's original state but, that they will try their best to restore the fluffiness. I was okay with this as i knew it had been like that for a while and it seemed next to impossible to restore. I received my area rug today and to my surprise and delight, it looked pretty close to brand new! I am so happy that LoveYourRug was able to clean and restore my area rug within 2 weeks (I originally was told it may take 3-5 weeks). I would absolutely recommend their services to anyone and i will definitely be using their services in the future!

I emailed Protection Plus for a quote and received a response right away! The representative who contacted me was very understanding of my budget and helped me pick the best plan to suit my needs and my budget. The tech who did the install was very knowledgeable and professional. I'm glad I went with Protection Plus!
