To prepare my home in Brampton Ontario for sale, while living in Alberta, I got 3 quotes to perform the work. My uncle who works in a different area, a referral contractor from my parents real estate agent, and Pro Painters Toronto who is a referral from my own real estate agent. During the quote he called me on the phone to go over details while he was in the house with my tenant, and to make some suggestions of his own. None of the others called me to verify details, nor made any suggestions of their own. Especially being unable to come see the state of the property myself, this is definitely what made me decide to give the work to Pro Painters Toronto. My parents were in and out doing other things while the work was being completed. Pro Painters were very helpful with suggestions to my mother about her changing the light fixtures on the main floor to help update the look of the home, and helped her decide on the paint colours that complimented the rest of the house (To match existing flooring, cupboards, counters, siding, etc). They had a crew that worked together very professionally, and got this very large amount of work done in less than 3 days!! They painted the basement & ceiling, basement bathroom, living room & ceiling, kitchen & ceiling (plus popcorn ceiling repair where a wall had previously been removed), upstairs hallway, upstairs bathroom, master bedroom, both stairwells, all the trim & doors throughout, exterior front door & shed door. They also installed 2 new doors for the basement & basement bathroom, plus a wall access for the plumbing for the basement shower. All the holes from nails/screws/drywall plugs were filled seamlessly prior to painting. They also repaired a section of the backyard fence and gate that had fallen over. The supporting posts had rotted at ground level due to age. I had originally wanted this to be replaced with all new materials, but he told me it was in perfect condition to be reused, only needing new supporting posts, to help keep my cost down. The house has never looked so good! I wish I was moving back into it! My only regret is that I am unable to hire them to do work on my current home in Alberta. I would definitely hire this company again in a heartbeat.
