Geoff showed up promptly to the site in order to provide an estimate. We had a lengthy discussion about my options and there was no pressure just information about his service and product. His workmen were courteous and efficient. They did a neat install and cleaned up completely when complete.

We have used Versatile for three projects and all have been great. On the last project some grout was cracking and they came right out to investigate. As it turns out the underlay on this project was used on two others and ours was the third to fail. Even though the manufacturer would not stand behind the product, Versatile redid the labour and underlay at no charge to us. The tile was discontinued so we had to choose a different one

Great service from start to finish. Susan in the office was my first contact, very courteous and got lots of detail to prepare Curt for his visit. He did a thorough investigation and gave us a good explanation and written quote to follow. After some thought I was confused and emailed asking more questions to which Curt gave a very detailed explanation. Charles did the work and worked steadily until the job was done. The work was neat and the clean-up was good. Great work, it cools and no more water leaks.

This is the most expensive tree pruning we have had but the best. Previous guy was half the price but used a chainsaw on a stick from a cherry picker and did some damage that even we noticed. Jeremy and his crew climbed into each large tree and did close up, thoughtful pruning. We are happy and plan to use them again.

Versatile finished their third project in our home on Friday March 9, 2018. The first two projects were bathrooms which had to be done because of leaking and each was completed to perfection. This job was more cosmetic, with dirty grout lines and some cracked tiles and it just needed an updated look. It was an easy decision to proceed because we know we can trust Versatile. The job started on March 5 after a big snowfall and Mark arrived at 15 minutes later than promised, which is still very prompt compared to previous contractors but we still received a phone call shortly after 9:00am telling the road conditions would cause Mark to be late. This level of courtesy continued throughout the entire job and it was great to see Mark every day. The attention to detail and craftsmanship is great and we are very happy. Versatile has finished their second project for us and we could not be more pleased. Prior to Herb, we have had four different contractors on four separate projects, Herb is by far the best and is the only one to do more than one project for us. Versatile is definitely worth the wait. Versatile's most recent project for us was initially renovated 13 years ago by probably the worst contractor in Calgary; tile started cracking within a month of being completed..... then we had a dilemma because the original contractor would not fix it and no one else wanted to repair it for fear they would on the hook for further warranty. So we lived with this substandard bathroom for 13 years, a constant reminder of bad workmanship and basically dishonest people. Once Versatile started the project it became apparent the previous work was even worse than we thought. Herb's crew worked long hours to cover the extra work involved because they were not about to delay for their next job. Our advice, wait for Versatile. Waiting six or nine months is far better than living with a substandard renovation for years. If there is a problem, and I doubt there would be with Herb's crew, he will stand behind his work. It is an intense week when Versatile arrives, but they work non stop until the job is done. They are punctual, courteous and they do their best to keep the site clean. Over the years we have had several renovations and this has been the best experience in every aspect. Herb and his crew were a pleasure to have in our home, they showed up when promised and were there every day, all day completing their part of the job in just four days. Their shop vac ran frequently as they attempted to minimize the dust; they removed numerous drop clothes at the end of the day replacing them with clean ones the next. Herb's suppliers are also first rate, the granite is in and we are just waiting for custom shower doors and mirror. We are so pleased that we have booked our main bathroom for a makeover.
