We began renovations on our newly purchased villa in October, 2017. We wanted a gas stove, but our gas line was not large enough for another appliance. We got Mark's name from another trade and he upgraded and installed a larger gasline so that we can have a gas stove. He is also a plumber and we asked him to install a waterline in our laundry room so we can install a laundry sink and vanity. He did both of these jobs diligently and precisely (both were inspected and approved). Mark did many plumbing/natural gas jobs for us during our renos; replying very quickly to our messages and setting up timely appointments for which he was always on time. During kitchen renos, he disconnected the waterline to the old fridge; disconnected and moved the waterline for the kitchen faucet and dishwasher in the island then hooked everything up after the island was installed. We still have jobs for and will continue to use Mark's expertise in plumbing and gasfitting (he will install our new gas stove, garburator and fridge when we receive them) and we have complete trust in his work. He is pleasant, conscientious, honest and knowledgable. We would not hesitate to recommend his excellent services. His work is guaranteed.

We have used Campbell Moving twice in 2017. Once to move from a large home in Calgary to a small condo (about 3 km) in June; then another move to a villa (about 3 km) from the small condo on December 20, one of the coldest days of the year and during a huge snowstorm. Cheryl, in the office, is extremely pleasant, knowledgable and easy to deal with. The movers from the last time were Greg and Emmanuel and were excellent.....we therefore requested them. They were not available and Cheryl sent Hector and Tyler. Just as excellent and with a great sense of humour! They had all made my 88 year old mom laugh during the whole move! Hopefully, we will never have to move again, but I would definitely recommend this company for ease of move and a great conversation with Cheryl!

Tracy Keith from CDL Carpet & Floor Centre helped me choose a tile for the backsplash for my Legacy Kitchen. I told her I wanted a modern look and showed her samples and colours of my kitchen. She gave me advice on color, how to install it (modern style - stacked) and arranged for delivery and install. She is professional, knowledgable, easy to get hold of and very patient in her explanations and answering any of my questions. She arranged for Ion, a tilesetter, to install the backsplash just after Christmas in 2018. His work was excellent. I am more than happy with the service provided by this company and would highly recommend them.

We chose Legacy through word of mouth and online reviews. We only heard and read positive comments about this company. We dealt with Jason at Legacy who is extremely patient, calm, organized, easy to reach and knowledgable. After consulting with Jason and help from Mel (his very knowledgable and patient assistant) we chose Kitchen Craft, Newhaven style, maple, painted whitecap (a new "white" color), cupboards which were installed just before Christmas 2017. We have 9 foot ceilings and had cabinets installed to the ceiling. We had some organizers put in the drawers for cutlery, spices, knives, and oven pans. We had a new island put in. Legacy arranged for installation of our black Caesarstone counters and large 60/40 stainless steel square baril sink. We are ecstatic with the modern look of our kitchen and with the service provided by Jason, Mel, Annette (who organized the installation and again was very knowledgable), Ion the tilesetter who installed the backsplash, Qua who installed the countertops, Tracy at CDL who helped with the backsplash choice and installation and Alison and Jacqui from Studio who helped with the sink and faucet - this entire team was extremely helpful, professional and knowledgable and answered any questions. Jason handled every issue with patience and understanding (and we changed our mind countless times)! I would strongly recommend Legacy for your new kitchen.

We hired Kival Electric to change the lighting in our newly purchased villa from flush mount fixtures to LED potlights. Steve came over first to assess the job and give us ideas about lighting. He is extremely knowledgeable, pleasant and easy to deal with. We changed and added many more potlights to the two levels of the villa. We had a fixture installed as a "makeup" light. We had the ceilings scraped and painted; Mark was very cautious when installing the potlights after the ceiling work was done. Both Steve and Mark were very patient in explaining the process involved in both electrical and renovations. During renovations, we decided to install a new kitchen. Steve was a huge help in advising us of the electrical process involved in the kitchen reno and had great suggestions as to placement (and moving) of plugs and receptacles, under cabinet lighting, placement of potlights, pendants, all of the electrical for the appliances, etc. While Mark was in our home working, he explained everything that he was doing. Steve kept in contact (and was extremely easy to get hold of) and dropped in to check on how things were going and advise what needed to be done next. This team is extremely patient and happy to answer any questions! To conclude, I would highly recommend this company and will use them again without hesitation if I have any electrical work to be done.

Val is a master of floor refinishing and repair. He is also very knowledgable and easy to reach. He is thorough and does an excellent clean up. We purchased a 14 year old villa and hired Val to sand (he uses a dustless sander), patch and refinish the solid oak hardwood on the main floor. We had removed a huge built in wall unit, a kitchen island and cupboards. He repaired and added flooring to different locations and you cannot tell where he added flooring. We are beyond pleased. The whole main floor looks larger. It is beautiful. I would highly recommend using Val!

We purchased a 14 year old villa and hired an inspector who suggested we top up our attic insulation. I researched Insulation companies and found IDEAL Insulation was highly rated. We went from R30 to R60 and get a small rebate from the government (which IDEAL handles for you). This should help to reduce our heating costs in the winter. From the first salesperson (Randy) to the girl who books the job (Bailey), to the guys who did the actual work, they were professional, pleasant and easy to deal with. I highly recommend this company.

Florian is extremely pleasant, professional, pays attention to detail and is easy to deal with. He transformed our 1300 sf villa into a masterpiece! He was easily available and answered any questions we had. He completed the job in a timely manner; his employees were excellent. His knowledge of various paints, colours and applications on difficult surfaces is exceptional. We wanted to get rid of all the dark oak. He painted all the baseboards, trim, the 2 fireplaces (and tile), 2 bathroom vanities, doors and bannister in chantilly white - it covered perfectly. The walls were painted classic grey. We are ecstatic with the results and highly recommend Florian as your painter.

From start to finish, this is the easiest company to deal with. Bob Zimmerman is professional, available at any time to answer questions, knowledgable, and the quality of work was excellent and way beyond my expectations. The whole house was well-protected even though we have not moved in yet. The employees worked extremely hard at the difficult job of scraping the ceilings of all the stipple, then prepped the ceilings then plastered them to prepare them for the painter. We have a bungalow villa and had both the main and lower level completed and we are 100 per cent satisfied with the work completed and would highly recommend anyone use this company for any drywall work.

Les from Pete the Plumber was quick, efficient and extremely knowledgable. He diagnosed, found and repaired the leak in a very short time. We were so relieved that it was a minor issue. Thank you Les for a job well done. We have always used Pete the Plumber and have had only a good experience!

HomeBath replaced: our old and cracked master bath tub with a soaker tub, the master shower stall, five sets of faucets, two shower heads and two bathtub faucets. We would recommend this renovation company without hesitation. The office staff (Lisa and Roz) are friendly, pleasant, organized, knowledgable, extremely helpful, easy to deal with and always return calls in a timely manner. The installers (Ben, Kevin, etc) are friendly, efficient and reliable. They cleaned up perfectly before leaving our home. We have only positive comments to make about this company as we are completely satisfied.
