Shopping at Morrison House is a treat! Located smack-dab in the middle of quaint downtown Oakville, it’s a wonderful little shop where you’ll find elegant touches to decorate your home. While a little pricey at first glance, the merchandise is of excellent quality and lots of it has a ‘timeless’ quality. I found beautiful picture frames there not too long ago, which I have received more compliments on than the artwork that they’re framing. The store itself is a pleasure to shop in, with friendly staff who are willing to answer any questions and help you find just what you’re looking for. This store is a little gem!

Wow! If you’re looking for new furniture for ANY room of the house, Swiss Interiors is a good place to start. Though small-ish from the outside, they actually have 4 floors of assembled furniture to browse through, from full bedroom sets, to living room furniture, to office and dining room set-ups. You’ll also find a fabulous selection of lighting fixtures and an array of other home decorating items (like picture frames and clocks). I have been looking for a sofa table for months, and finally found an awesome one at Swiss Interiors – the furniture is top quality and the price is reasonable for what you get (i.e., for excellent quality). Many of the pieces are quite unique and would be hard to find elsewhere – at Swiss Interiors, it’s all there together in one place!

I absolutely love this store – I could (and have) spent loads of time just browsing here and marveling over their stuff! Not only do they have awesome stuff for decorating your kitchen or dining room table (like flatware, stemware, table clothes, china, etc.), they also carry kitchen appliances (small ones, like mixers and blenders), baking supplies, and amazing gadgets that you wouldn’t believe. So much of their stuff is unique, different, and just plain cool! I recently bought a fondue set there that I have never seen anywhere else – it not only serves it’s purpose of being a great fondue set, but I love using it with guests, who always comment on how pretty it is. It’s a total treat to shop here!
