From beginning to end, Darryl and Upanoak Tree Care were super easy to work with. I contacted a few different companies to get quotes and Darryl was quick to respond, easy to reach and his price was right. We were able to quickly determine what I needed, and he came by to remove the Japanese Maple that was in the way of my porch project. The work was done quickly and the cleanup afterward was flawless. Completely impressed with Peter. I called him a few months ago when our washing machine started to make a horrible clunking noise during the spin cycle. All communication was prompt and clear. Peter showed up for our appointment on time and quickly identified the problem. He said that it could be fixed, but once out of our tight basement space, etc that replacing it would be more cost effective. There was no pressure from him at all and that initial call was less than $100. A couple of months and a lot of thinking later, I called Peter again. We had picked out a new washer/dryer set from their website for purchase. I do my research on any large purchases and the Pambis price was better than what I could find anywhere else - even on sale. Peter came to my house, disconnected and arranged for disposal of the old set, delivery of the new set and installation the following week. He's just left my home following the installation of the new machines and I've already recommended him to a friend. Peter is constantly in touch, trustworthy and made everything super easy. Hopefully, I won't need to call them again, but if I need appliance service in the future, I'll definitely give Peter a call.

My husband and I went into Upcountry looking for a new bedroom set and found just the one we wanted. It was beautiful and we couldn't wait to get it to furnish our new bedroom in our first house. That was the beginning of April when we ordered it and put 50% down. On April 28, I got a call saying that the bedroom set was ready and that they just need the balance owing. So I paid that on my credit card and they said the delivery company would call in 3-4 days to schedule a delivery. After weeks and then months of discussions and arguments with every employee, the delivery company (who we never heard back from), and every manager we have requested a full refund as they have thousands of dollars of our money and cannot give us even an estimated time of arrival for our furniture. We were told that they have a no refunds policy (surprise, surprise) and that we would need to talk to the CFO to arrange a refund. Not surprisingly, we have yet to hear back from ANYONE, not customer service, not the CFO although we are calling them everyday and leaving messages. DO NOT SHOP AT UPCOUNTRY. Unless you want to give them a lot of money for nothing in return. They still have our money, refuse to give it back and won't give us our furniture. It's like theivery.
