Do not let them perform any work at your home or business. The quality of their work is very poor and they do not complete the work. We are out $10,000 and have contacted the police. The same people used to operate as Select Interlocking Restoration (now shut down). The business address is fake. They are NOT professionals and they do not live up to their commitments. Their warranty is worthless as they do not respond. Their business address is fake. They have left a legacy of dissatisfied customers in Mississauga and Toronto. Once they have too many, they shut down their business and open up another.

Solar Wave Energy installed a solar pool heating system at our home in Mississauga in the summer of 2014. We were satisfied with the installation of the system, the after-installation service offered by this company is very poor. First of all, while the system is fairly straight-forward, they provide nothing in the way of instructions for on-going use/maintenance/open/close of the system as a whole. Secondly, good luck getting a timely service response. This summer, after opening the pool, I noticed a leak in the system. I placed service call by email. Solar Wave responded stating that they would put our request "on the service call list". That was almost a month ago and we haven't heard back from them. This company clearly does not appreciate the importance of maintaining an ongoing, positive relationship with their clients.

We hired Natures Paradise to replace our existing front steps and walkway with stamped or decorative concrete (approx. 300 sq. ft.). Our initial experience with them was favourable, however, we are experiencing some serious problems with the work that they have done and have yet to receive a satisfactory response from them. The work started in October 2011 and was completed in November 2011. There were some delays and miscommunications; as one of the previous reviewers indicated, Karim is much less forthcoming than Victor. Karim at one point was quite rude to us because we raised some concerns about their approach and the way that the job was progressing. Although we were constructive, he became very defensive. He later apologized, but we found him to be lacking in sincerity and credibility. We were able to negotiate a small amount of extra work (parging foundation area around walkway) for a reasonable price. At the point of project completion, the end product looked good. HOWEVER, over the last two months the surface of the stamped concrete has started to deteriorate. The surface is flaking is many areas on the walkway and step creating a very unsightly patch-like appearance. The edge along the driveway is deteriorating (softening/pitting/chipping) in a few areas. We sent out emails with photos to all of Natures Paradises contacts, including the office, Karim and Victor. We did not receive a response. After several attempts, we managed to reach Karim by cell phone. His initial comment was that these issues were a 'normal part of the concrete settling process. It is obvious that there is nothing 'normal' about the deteriorating condition of this work, so I can only assume that this was Karim's attempt to downplay or completely 'wash his hands' of this issue. At the end of our phone discussion with Karim, he stated that he had just returned from vacation and needed a few days to review our email, then he would get back to us. That was well over a week ago and we have not heard back from anyone at Natures Paradise. Our step and walkway continue to deteriorate. At this point, I have no option but to advise that you DO NOT do business with Natures Paradise. If there is a satisfactory resolution to our issues, I will re-post. At this time, I have very serious doubts about the professionalism and quality of workmanship associated with this organization. You are welcome to contact me at gmv03@rogers.com or drive by for a look at the front steps/walkway by going to 2234 Haygate Crescent, Mississauga.

We hired AMJ Campbell(Marcel Niles) to store our belongings for 3 months and move us from Whitby to Mississauga. In the process, AMJ Campbell caused in excess of $5,000 of damage to our wood furniture, a metal lamp, a table saw, and a power washer. Even though we purchased full replacement-value insurance, they are refusing to acknowledge much of the damage and have arbitrarily disallowed some items with explanation. We have written several letters, taken photos, complained to the BBB and the Canadian Association of Movers. AMJ Campbell has been repeatedly unresponsive, refusing to return call or respond directly to our requests for further information, clarification or negotiation. We have gotten a quotation from a furniture repair company specializing in move damage who concur that the damage we are claiming is move related and quite extensive. We are in the process of launching a small claims court action. Furthermore, at the time AMJ Campbell took inventory of our belongings, they recorded the condition of each of item on an inventory form in two-letter codes. According to AMJ Campbell's own standard operating procedure, they were to have reviewed this condition report with us at the time. In the end, they marked everything as scratched and gouged to avoid paying out on a insurance claim. This company is unprofessional and unscrupulous with little or no regard for their customers. The President, Bruce Bowser, is particularly disconnected from his business and customers, and seems unwilling to hold his management team accountable for the organization's practices and actions. Stay away from this moving company. Finally, our Ministry of Consumer Services was of no help in resolving this issue. Yet again, another example of a government agency that purports to assist the public, but in the end, looked for every reason not to help.
