I booked a home assessment with Greensaver (the people at 74 Six Point Road) and they set up a time to visit my home. I paid with credit card over the phone. Two days later, my appointment was cancelled; the cancellation email stated that someone would set up another appointment the following week. After two weeks without a call I tried contacting them several times by email and phone but received no response. Luckily I was able to dispute the credit card charge with my bank and received a refund.

James and his crew have moved my piano twice: to and from my basement; needed because of renovations to the main floor. The job was done very professionally and courteously and I would have no hesitation in asking him to do this again if needed.

Guy worked to create a bathroom out of a hall closet as well as renovate an existing bathroom. Both bathrooms were done very professionally. My wife hated the old main floor bathroom and was reluctant to use the tub as it was old and worn. Now she loves her new bathroom (I'm not allowed to use it) and we are both impressed that the bathroom looks great nearly two years later. He created a ground floor bathroom (which our house lacked) from a hall closet. Guy was able to run water supply and sewage lines under the bathroom with a minimum of disruption and cleverly routed the fan through the garage to the outside. We would definitely use him again.

We decided to change our cabinets, countertop, and sink. Design and measuring went well. Home Depot uses a variety of contractors to install kitchens. Materials arrive at the house from various manufacturers and are stored there until all of them arrive. Some parts were missing or of poor quality and Home Depot neglected to re-order them after having been informed. This caused a considerable delay. Two separate contractors were used to install the cabinets! The bottom line was that Home Depot failed to coordinate the job to our satisfaction. We were told that we had to track all parts that arrived at various times. Whenever I phoned to find out what was going on, I spoke to a different person who seemed to know nothing about the job. If you use Home Depot, check the contract very carefully - if it isn't specified, it will not happen - no matter what the salesperson told you. We paid to have the sink installed but the cabinet people don't install sinks so you have to wait for them and then the countertop people to finish and then call the plumbers before you can get the sink installed. We eventually gave up waiting and installed it ourselves. The official complaints process was even more aggravating than the installation problems - the store told them that our installation was complete and that we had been compensated! I eventually complained to the President of the U.S. parent company and even with their help, it took several more weeks to finish.
