I hired BCJ to paint the entire interior of my entire house. They came and gave a cost estimate and time estimate of 2 weeks. Two of the painters had little or no experience. The job took 3 1/2 weeks instead of 2 weeks. He asked for one increase in $ as he had not understood that he was to do the base kitchen cupboards which I did give to him as it seemed an honest mistake. It seems, however, that his costing was inaccurate and at the end of 2 weeks he started to skimp on the prep work and the quality of the work. The owner left a day early and sadly I paid him in full as I trusted him to come back if corrections were needed. It was hard to tell with the furniture piled against the walls. I called on a Friday to speak with him. He did not return my call. I called him 4 days later and he said that he would come March 1st. The winter storm delayed that but 2 calls later he has yet to call to rebook a day to come and finish the job. He promised high quality work, but as you can see by the photos, he did not deliver. Cracks and holes were not filled. Doors and baseboards were left unpainted. It is going to cost over a thousand dollars ( a quote) to repair what was done poorly and to finish the job.
