We had Churko Electric in to repair a ceiling fan light control and wire a dishwasher. The work was completed fine but the charges were high. Their standard call out charge is $120 for each visit plus they bill in 1/2 hour increments even though our second visit took only 10 minutes. And we waited over 2 weeks for them to come back to finish. Asking around I was told that the other smaller electricians are cheaper and more responsive to small residential jobs. I get the feeling Churko really doesn't want to bother with smaller calls, which is of course his prerogative.
