In my humble opinion, with 35 plus years in the construction and engineering industry I can say that Mario and Domenic from Precision Marble &Tile are in a class of "Master Tilers". Mario & Domenic are: professional, friendly, down to earth, practical, understanding, punctual and above all else - they treat you like family. I interviewed several potential so called "professional tilers" and in summary: they were not skilled enough to take on the work nor were they confident of thinking "outside of the box". Attention to detail, level floors, square corners & striaght grout lines are very key elements for me and that is why I trusted my bathroom tiling project to Mario & Domenic. I retained Mario & Domenic to complete the tiling in a basement bathroom that was a unique design which contained a free standing tub in a common shower area. The tiling pattern was complex with hand picked tiles to create the layers of a quarried mountain side. The geometric layout of the bathroom was also unique with Schluter edge returns, 45 angle degree walls and a heated floor system. I have attached some pictures of the work and the photos speak for themselves. In my humble opinion, If you are looking for "Masters Tilers" who really know their craft, I strongly suggest you give Mario & Domenic a call at Precision Marble & Tile - you will not be disappointed. My apologies to Spring Home Heating & Cooling for my tardy review. This company really deserves a rating of 11 stars out of 10 for surpassing my strict & very high standards. If I could only use 1 word to describe this company it would be: " Outstanding ! " In my 35 plus years experience in the construction and engineering industry I have never met a better group of individuals that, in my humble opinion, are the best in the HVAC industry. The best way to describe my dealings with Spring Home Heating & Cooling, especially Sam (the project manager) and George (the owner) along with their superb crew is as follows: Professional, respectful, knowledgeable, excellent workmanship, extraordinary people skills, punctual, expeditious, down to earth, no pressure sales tactics, excellent communication skills, immaculate job cleanup, excellent workmanship guarantee. When I first contacted Sam I knew I had found the right man and company to do my HVAC work. My basement renovation required a hot water tank to be relocated and also required custom duct work to alleviate issues with limited headroom. There were some concerns regarding airflow that I had but Sam and George expertly reassured me that the reduced aspect ratio of the new duct work sizing would not compromise air flow - as a matter of fact, George (the owner) personally came to the site to reassure me of this important issue. The installation crew was overseen by Sam. These guys are a well "oiled machine" focused on customer satisfaction, complete with high workmanship standards with an overabundance of integrity, There were other issues that were addressed as well, like making sure the furnace was in compliance with any "grandfathered" gas codes. I feel very assured that the existing HVAC system for my mother in law is now up to code, works efficiently and above else, has a company like Spring Home standing behind her. In my humble opinion: If you have any concerns regarding your existing furnace, air conditioner or are looking for a new installation, or for any HVAC concerns please do not hesitate to call Spring Home Heating & Cooling - you will not be disappointed - these guys are experts in their field - they will look after you like family. Ed Batista, in my humble opinion, really deserves 11 stars out of 10. If I could only use 4 words to describe Ed they would be: "Master Drywaller and Taper" In my 35 plus years experience in the construction and engineering industry I have never met a better individual who is dedicated to providing excellent drywall installation and taping service coupled with excellent customer service skills - I believe Ed to be one of the best in the Drywall and Taping Industry. From the initial visit with Ed I knew I found the right man for the job. My basement was very intricate in layout & had various geometric shapes requiring precise drywalling techniques coupled with a mastery of taping which Ed easily provided and even surpassed my expectations which are at a very high standard - Ed can attest to this fact. Ed is very meticulous with the final surface preparation which includes fine hand sanding with a light source to help zero in on any shadows created by uneven surface areas - a true "Master Craftsman" which is very difficult to find nowadays. The best way to describe my dealings with Ed is as follows: Professional, respectful, knowledgeable, excellent workmanship, extraordinary people skills, punctual, expeditious, down to earth, no pressure sales tactics, excellent communication skills, immaculate job cleanup, excellent workmanship guarantee. From start to finish Ed is a humble man for whom I hold a great deal of respect and admiration for - he is hardworking, true to his word and a great human being with extraordinary ethics. In my humble opinion: If you are looking for superior drywall and taping installation please give Ed a call - you will not be disappointed - you are in goods hands with someone that takes great care and pride in his workmanship. My apologies to Leuri ( Larry ) at Rebuild The Planet for this tardy review. Leuri really deserves a rating of 11 stars out of 10. He went above and beyond to complete intricate framing works in my basement - I am very particular about workmanship, as Leuri can attest to. If I could only use 3 words word to describe Leuri they would be: "Master Framing Carpenter" In my 35 plus years experience in the construction and engineering industry I have never met a better group of individuals led by Leuri, that in my humble opinion, are one of the best companies in the construction framing business. I was immediately impressed by Leuri upon our initial meeting. First and foremost, Leuri is a very humble and respectful human being - seldom do you find these qualities - especially amongst contractors. His expertise in construction framing is quite evident when you speak to him, he is very knowledgeable and up to date with current Building Code requirements and is able to "think outside of the box". The best way to describe my dealings with Leuri and his great crew at Rebuild The Planet is as follows: Professional, respectful, knowledgeable, excellent workmanship, extraordinary people skills, punctual, expeditious, down to earth, no pressure sales tactics, excellent communication skills, immaculate job cleanup, excellent workmanship guarantee. The basement layout plan I created was, to say the least, a very detailed geometric design requiring precision layout and execution. Leuri's confidence and expertise rubs off on his crew and they performed the framing layout with no problem - especially when working with existing exterior walls that are not "square" and when the existing concrete slab is not true to be level - this is the true mark of a " Master Framing Carpenter ". Leuir provided excellent feed back and resolution to particular problem areas regarding limiting headroom caused by heating supply ducts - once again he demonstrated the ability to "think outside of the box" to help resolve issues not only during construction but also prior to construction during our initial visit. Leuri is very skilled, he actually assisted me on the spur of the moment to help level the existing concrete floor when my original contractor, who was scheduled to do this work, cancelled out on me at the last minute - Leuri helped out on a Sunday in order to keep the job on schedule - thanks again Leuri, that was very kind of you and very professional. Leuri has a very good structural insight as well, we exposed an existing concrete block support column which I thought may have been compromised from previous demolition work - however, upon closer inspection, Leuri re-assured me there were no issues - I concurred given my structural background. In my humble opinion: If you are looking for any type of construction framing - no matter how complicated, whether structural elements are involved or not, please do not hesitate to call Leuri - you will not be disappointed - he is passionate about providing excellent work - you will be in good hands. Please do not hesitate to contact me for a reference, you may reach me via text at 705-828-9425 sincerely, Roy Carretta, CET, AFC

My sincerest apologies to the Accu-star team for this tardy review, I have been under the weather and am now ready to put together my thoughts on my experience with them. This company really deserves 11 stars out of 10 - they went above and beyond my expectations and I am very particular on workmanship. In my 35 plus years experience in the construction and engineering field I would rank Accu-Star as one of the better companies I have ever dealt with. In my humble opinion, they are top notch in the asbestos remediation industry and also provide excellent demolition service as well. The best way to describe my dealings with Accu-star and in particular, Amanda, Jason and the construction crew comprised of Leo, Muonesa ( sorry if I spelled your name incorrectly) Charlie & Tyler is as follows: Professional, respectful, knowledgeable, excellent workmanship, extraordinary people skills, punctual, expeditious, down to earth, no pressure sales tactics, excellent communication skills, immaculate job cleanup, excellent workmanship guarantee, trustworthy, and fair. I contacted Amanda from Accu-star to coordinate a site visit and quote for my mother in law's house. She was looking to renovate her basement and I had concerns about existing ceiling and flooring tiles which I thought contained asbestos. Jason promptly came out to take samples of the tiles and from our first meeting I knew I had contacted the right people to do the investigative work and carry out any possible asbestos remedial action. Jason is thorough and very knowledgeable and trust worthy - seldom traits that are inherent in companies and individuals nowadays. Amanda got back to me very quickly with laboratory results from the samples Jason had procured and she then proposed a course of action for remediation. I was so impressed with the turn around time and the excellent customer service that I asked Jason if he could please provide a quote to do some additional general demolition - I was not disappointed. Not only did Accus-tar do an excellent job on the asbestos remediation but they also did an equally great job on the general demolition. In my humble opinion: If you have any concerns whatsoever about possible asbestos in your home or workplace I highly recommend that you contact Accu-star, these guys are really good - you will not be disappointed. In my 35 plus years experience in the construction and engineering industry I have never met a better group of individuals that, in my humble opinion, are the best in the basement waterproofing business. The best way to describe my dealings with Aquatech and in particular, Anna, Andrew and the construction crew comprised of Igor (the foreman) and Igor (the lead hand) is as follows: Professional, respectful, knowledgeable, excellent workmanship, extraordinary people skills, punctual, expeditious, down to earth, no pressure sales tactics, excellent communication skills, immaculate job cleanup, excellent workmanship guarantee. I contacted Anna from Aquatech Waterproofing on a weekend to coordinate a site visit and quote for my mother in law's house. She had experienced some water coming in between the block foundation wall and top of concrete slab in her basement. Since she was planning on doing basement renovations I strongly advised her to correct this water problem as soon as possible. From my initial contact with Anna I was extremely impressed with her prompt and courteous response. From reading Aquatech's reviews on Homestars, I asked Anna if she could please send out Andrew to provide me with a quote. I met with Andrew on site and he proceeded to analyze the problem areas with a detailed and thorough inspection inside the basement walls (and outside as well) with a special imaging camera and moisture measuring device. Specific areas were targeted by Andrew that needed to be addressed by means of excavating the exterior against the foundation wall down to the old weeping tile. The old failing weeping tile was replaced and the foundation wall waterproofed and 2 small sized window wells installed. If you have any concerns about a damp or leaky basement I highly recommend that you contact Aquatech - you will not be disappointed. I had Rod quote me for the installation of approximately 30 ft2 of large format porcelain tile for my mother in law's front door entrance. Although the job was very small, Rod was willing to do the work and for a fair price. I found him to be very professional, tidy, courteous, down to earth, efficient, honest and true to his word which in these times is very hard to find. These qualities are very important to me. I have worked in the construction and engineering industry for over 30 years and have dealt with various contractors on small and very large projects. I must say that Rod is someone that treats his job like he was working at his very own home. There was a minor issue with a couple of tiles, through no fault of Rod's, that needed to be removed and replaced - I contacted Rod with the problem and he came back as he promised and fixed the tiles in question at no extra cost - superior customer service skills. In my humble opinion I would recommend Rod for any of your tiling needs - you will not be disappointed.
