I am a do-it-yourselfer. I have redone many inhome projects before in the past but had a few concerns and questions about the right plumbing fixtures to use. I ended up with a sales person (I think his name was Henry) who showed a lot of interest in my project. He ended up spending over an hour with me going through the store to help me select my fixtures, paint, brushes etc. Actually I showed him my original paint sample I was going to use and he said my husband may not like it (he was away on business at the time) and helped me select a better hue/tint of the same colour. Needless to say when my husband came home he was surprised and delighted with my job. He even stated that when our next project comes up he's going to send me to see the same guy to get the great advice.

My two sons age's 12 & 6 were out shopping for a desk for each of their rooms. We ended up visiting Ikea and to my delight they had the perfect desks, chairs, lamps etc., for both boys (age group and different styles). They were very happy. I was excited with the low price and now there is no more arguing at the kitchen table during homework as they now have their own space. In need for different furniture for different tastes? Head off to Ikea. It's worth fighting through the crowds.
