Rent-a-son was great - quick to respond with the quote, reasonable rates, on-time arrival on the day of the move. Cooper and (I'm sorry I forget the other mover's name) were polite, responsive and took great care of my belongings. I love the shrink-wrap on the sofa! I would definitely recommend rent-a-son to others who are moving.

The roof came down in my home and I was very concerned about the dust and possible dirt from the attic and roof coming down into the living area of my house. LUX and the cleaners came and did a wonderful job of deep cleaning not only my living space but also other rooms in the house. I especially loved the fact that they deep cleaned areas in the kitchen that I can never get to, including the space behind the oven. My only reason for not recommending to my mother is the price; you get what you pay for. Excellent work, environmentally and healthy cleaners. My mom would probably not want to pay for it thought I think it's totally worth the money.

I have a large yard and the toilet in our basement seemed to be clogged - eventually we saw sewage come out of drainage areas in the basement shower and another part of the basement. Drainworks came quickly and diagnosed the problem as tree roots having gotten into our old pipes (the house is 1940's-50's). They offered different solutions at different price points with advice, but not necessarily pressure to pick the most expensive solution. In the end, we picked one of the more pricey ways to solve the problem, with hopes that this would not happen again. (They had to dig into the ground and replace with PVC pipe). They worked efficiently, quickly and didn't leave a mess. I'm really happy with the service.

I had to re-do my roof and the eaves this summer and was quite nervous about having such major work done on my house. Jason came out to provide the estimate and was very helpful in explaining some of the considerations as well as the work he would do. I was encouraged that he recommended obtaining other estimates and didn't feel pressured to go with his company. After obtaining other quotes, I went with Jason - his quote was right in the middle and I liked the fact that his is a family-run business. There were some unforseen circumstances which made scheduling tricky - Jason proved to be very responsible, which is quite amazing considering it was a busy summer for the industry in general. The work was done efficiently, exactly as discussed and within the timeframe promised. While it hasn't weathered an entire year yet, the roof has already seen its share of heavy rains through the fall and I feel very happy with my new roof and my with the great team that put it up. I highly recommend Jason Hunter and the Canadian Roofing Company. He (they) provide wonderful service and perform excellent work.
