DS in Oakville

Had a suspected skunk dig a den under our front porch. Called Skedaddle upon recommendation of the Oakville Humane Society. The inspection by James was timely and professional, as was the work done by Stuart to install a one-way door and screening. What I am not pleased was, this all happened a month ago, and there has been zero follow-up since. The one-way door still remains. It seems that once the credit card charge goes through, the customer service drops off. I was charged a not insubstantial amount of money for basically a 20 minute quote and 2 hours of work. I'm not quite sure what I paid for and wish I had called around for additional quotes, but that's on me.

Had an issue with my damper handle falling off that I was unable to fix myself. Rick came by and although not able to do a permanent fix due to timing, was able to do a temporary one and explained what would need to be done should it fall off again. He was very friendly and was reasonable with the price! Will definitely use him again for both cleaning and any other repairs.

Sourced a few quotes to add additional attic insulation - all prices were very similar but I ended up picking Tropical (even though marginally more expensive) because I felt their sales representative Walter really took the time to put together a detailed quote and answered all of my questions/concerns - the extra mile in customer service really does make the difference! Gino came and installed about a week later and he was also very friendly and professional, allowed me to see the difference for myself when he was finished. Parts of our fence needed to be replaced - Steve was a real pleasure to work with throughout the process. Fairly priced, and did work on time and we are very happy with the final fence. Would not hesitate to recommend to others.

Another positive review to add to the list...Owen was very responsive by phone and set up a chimney cleaning for the weekend (always appreciated). Sean showed up right on time as promised, and did a great job with cleaning the chimney. No complaints here, would use again.

One quick phone call and 3 days later John was in to replace our oversized patio screen door. John was very professional and friendly - even re-aligned our sliding door at no charge. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Had a new bay window as well as upstairs windows replaced - am very happy I went with Brock. During the quotation process, Tony was extremely helpful, and quick to respond to my questions via email. Pricing was in-line with my other quotes so ultimately my decision came down to customer service. Installation by John and his wife was on-time, surprisingly quick, and they were meticulous in the clean-up, not a speck of dust or debris to be seen. Overall I was very happy with Brock and would not hesitate to recommend to others.

Top of the line service from my first phone call with Stanley - to when Kevin and Mark showed up for the cleaning. Mark inspected the ducts and gave his honest opinion that they really did not warrant a full cleaning (which saved me significant $$$) and took the time to troubleshoot with me (hearing some knocking/dripping noises when furnace runs). I was very impressed with them overall and appreciated their honesty. I would recommend without reservation!
