We found ourselves with a "dead" furnace end of January and within 4 days had a lovely new heating & air conditioning system along with humidifier and WiFi thermostat installed by Mersey. Rene Seguin was out and gave us our first quote (we did have 2 other companies quote afterwards) so clearly and taking such time to explain exactly what we were looking at that it really helped me to ask intelligent questions about subsequent quotes. Cannot say enough about Rene's ability and willingness to take the time and explain everything so clearly and answer the silliest questions. Once we called him on the Wednesday to say we were going with Mersey, he came out within an hour or two and we had our installation set for the very next morning. Relief!! Charlie and Jordan arrived next morning on time and covered the entire pathway to our furnace room with "red carpeting" to protect our floors. They were done shortly after noon and left everything neat. They made a suggestion for venting the furnace by a different route that they explained and it made sense. Jordan took time and patience to train us on the WiFi thermostat and was very kind to two old "non-tech" people. Both were pleasant and great to have working in the house. We are thrilled with our new system - wonderful humidifier which I really need and I can control it all from our lovely new thermostat which is big enough for both my husband and I to read - a problem with the old one. The price was more than competitive and a special offer allowed us to upgrade from what we had.

We met with Ryan in December 2015 and he was very helpful with how we could replace ancient fabric vertical blinds with a new colour, more light protection and a reasonable price. We went with a vinyl and had to delay installation due to problems with other kitchen reno work. Giorgio was in for about half an hour today - installed the blind, gave us some tips about opening and closing without causing damage to the hardware. He was pleasant and kind and very neat. The blinds look wonderful and we are very, very pleased. Would contact Ryan at Allure again in a heartbeat if we had another window to cover and would certainly recommend them.

Looking back I realize I started working with Kathy back in 2004 when we were ready to furnish our living room. Then again in 2010 when we were redoing our master bedroom and bath and carpeting the stairs. Again in 2015 I called Kathy when it was time to repaint living room, buy new sheers to complement the living and dining room window treatments and choose a colour for a room recently vacated by our youngest son. Always Kathy is warm and friendly, listens to my ideas and then works with me to find what will work best and sometimes nudge me when I know I'm going with boring but don't know what else to do. Always my go-to decorator!
