Our new ('60's) sidesplit home had severely poor airflow in the upper attic and as a result had mould and we were unsure how old it was. We had 4 companies quote us on the job and EcoPower was not the least of these. We chose them because they were thorough in their inspection of the work we required and helped us understand the priority of each step, which we appreciated because we didn't know where to start. Kevin and Rob listened to our concerns and explained their recommendations respectfully and with patience. This was key because by not talking over us and being confident in their own advice, we immediately felt like we were in good hands. When the job started they were on a mission; remediation first, soffit vents installed (including baffles of course!), asbestos removal in vents and one pipe, finished off by adding new cellulose insulation (did I mention that remediation included removal of old insulation?). But it's not just that...they fixed the stove vent pipe as it wasn't tightly fitted and replaced a roof vent screen that was previously broken. It was those little niceties that were the icing on the cake. Rob, Kevin, Justin and Rob#2 worked so well together that you couldn't clearly tell who was in charge. Nice, right?! The job took 2 days and on the second day when it was 30 degrees outside, it wasn't in the attic or the bedroom! We noticed the difference immediately! You won't be disappointed if you hire this team.

From the initial consultation to the last detail, everyone involved was attentive and informative. Frank offered the perfect balance of consideration, advice and bluntness. The quality and care that goes into construction is evident at first glance. Even my father in law (who spent years in construction) commented on the attention to detail he witnessed while working alongside the crew when he was relocating the plumbing. Shaun and Mike were professional and friendly. If there was ever a challenge, we have the utmost confidence that they could have handled it.
