Northwood Doors helped my partner and I design and construct a new double entryway door for our 1875 Heritage Home in Cabbagetown, Toronto. The quality of the final product was second to none and Atfi continued to check in after our install was complete to make sure everything was perfect. The weight and design of the doors give us added security for our family. The amount of time given to every detail resulted in an entryway we are proud of. We will definitely be referring these craftsman to our neighbours and hope to work with them in the future. (The photo was taken right after out install, prior to minor finish work and painting in the Spring).

My partner and I have been restoring a 130 year old Victorian in Toronto's South Annex for the past four years and we ran into our share of good and bad contractors along the way; thankfully we found a superb roofing company that went above and beyond our expectations. My partner and I met with half a dozen companies before deciding to go with Marcin at M&R Roofing. Marcin was the only contractor to physically go up onto our roof and inspect what needed to be done when he came out for the initial meeting. He spent a good amount of time helping us decide what was the best approach to construct a new front roof on our home. The quote he provided us was detailed, thorough, and like no other we have ever seen in the industry. If contractors provided quotes half as good as M&R, we would all be in a lot better shape. Upon installation, his staff were friendly and very knowledgable. The work they did was truly outstanding. Marcin helped us find the right materials, helped us match the colours of both the metal roof and eaves/downspouts, and worked closely with us and Toronto Heritage Preservation Services to design something that worked well with the aesthetic of the home. We had requested some minor adjustments after the majority of work was completed. M&R had one of their most experienced guys sent out right away to meet me at the home and adjust a few small details. M&R followed up with my partner and I to make sure we were 100% satisfied with the entire job. Suffice to say, we are very pleased with the work and service from this company! Marcin is quick to respond to emails and phone calls and takes his time with clients to ensure everything gets addressed. M&R sent us photos of the completed work in the end. You know a company has an investment in their work when they send someone out to photograph it in the end. We will definitely be using M&R for all our roofing jobs in the future and will be recommending them to family and friends. Jordan Allison
