I was referred to Peter Martin based on a recommendation from my girlfriend's parents. Considering I am a full-time student and money really is an issue I have to deal with everyday, I went with Peter Martin because I heard they have great service. Unfortunately, the only good experience was during the purchase, but after that the service was terrible. The lady on the phone made it seem as though asking for them to put my house on the bottom of their repair route (the days they had available - I have school and oral surgery in the morning) was the biggest favour imaginable. Not to mention, when I called her out, she begins to lecture me about company policy. The repair man that comes to my home, instead of taking time to look at the Fridge and Freezer, expected my compliance with his decision that nothing was wrong. Instead, for a Fridge not providing correct temp on recommended settings suggest I should crank it up to the coldest levels. I asked for the manager, but apparently the manager was not available so I was told they would give me a call back, nothing.... I am left feeling like a fool, and angry. Considering I was not yelling at him, but simply disagreeing and defending my position, he provided a bunch of excuses and then walks away. I hope you consider my story when buying an appliance. UPDATE: The owner calls me and was very very difficult man to talk to. Wanted to give him my story but was accused of trying to slam his staff. He would not let me talk and gave me two options listen to him or he refunds me the money - simply put, to shut me up. Terrible experience with this company, do not buy.
