I am very hard to please: a demanding perfectionist; the worst client a tradesman could hope to find. But Ian Hannant and his crew blew me away. Other than starting late (very late) and using my laundry-room sink for washing their brushes (why?), the job was PERFECTLY executed, with daily site clean-up beyond even my lofty expectations, attention to detail comparable only to a surgeon and a two year guarantee, yes two years! Ian personally provides quality oversight and is on the job-site every two or three hours, all day, every day. the crews worked holidays and weekends to complete my job on [the revised] schedule. when he isn't personally present, Ian has senior supervisors providing support and guidance to the more junior crew. Ian provides colour consultation and other free advice including recommending the best sealants, primers, etc. To many readers this might seem ordinary, but in my experience it is extraordinary. My only hesitation in providing such a glowing reference is that Ian will become too busy to do my interior work!

The proprietor genuinely loves furniture and is a master refinisher, taking the time required to restore antiques to their intended glory. A specialist in french polish, he has created beauty where there was destruction from careless movers. George is a Home Star!!
