A number of years ago I had Frank come out to replace all of the windows in our 1940s bungalow, and his price was the most competitive and best value. Since then we have replaced both of our entry doors, and have had great service for all interactions. I highly recommend!

I contacted John based on his great reviews and we were not disappointed! We had our bathroom fully renovated last spring (by someone else) and I was not happy with some of the finishing details. John fixed up the patchy walls, painted walls and trim, put up all of our bathroom hardware, installed a glass shelf in my shower and installed 3 interior doors (bedroom, den and bathroom), that all needed to be customized due to the irregular door frames in my 80 year old house! Great work all around - we're looking forward to having him complete some more work in the spring and have referred him to family members as well.

I moved into an older home and one of the items from my home inspection was to top up the attic insulation. I requested a quote through Home Depot and was put in touch with Anthony from George Kent Home Improvements. Anthony came out and gave me an estimate and my options - we ended up going with a full insulation removal and new blown insulation added. Anthony also let us know that this could qualify us for a rebate through an energy auditor and got us in touch with the right company to do that as well. I highly recommend Anthony and his team.

We had Ken come out to remove a bird nest that was in one of our soffit vents - I called him on a holiday and he returned my call within the hour, and we made arrangements for the next day. Ken was very professional and definitely knew his stuff! He was able to remove the nest, checked to make sure that everything was sealed properly so the birds couldn't get back in, and he even found some spots where raccoons were trying to get into the roof! I recommend Ken and Gotcha Wildlife to anyone with a wildlife issue.

I called Michael purely based on the recommendations on this site - and we weren't disappointed! He's very thorough and talks you through everything that he's looking at, and you get a nice binder with the report to take home. This is helpful for when you need to refer back (will never remember everything!). We ended up not going with a house (nothing to do with the inspection), and had Michael back to inspect another house down the road a few days later.

I was in desperate need of help with picking out paint colours for our home reno and had some design issues to work out. I definitely needed professional help! I found Margarida online and she was able to see me that same week. I couldn't have asked for better service - we covered so much in a short amount of time, sticking to my budget and talking through the problem areas of my home. I loved that Margarida would call out things as she saw them and offer options - there are ways to do things if you have big or small budgets, and she was spot on. We chose paint colours for my living/dining room, bedroom, office (2nd bedroom) and trim, figured out how to create a front entry for a front door that opens into a living space, and came up with floorplan options for my very awkward kitchen addition (it's a 75 year old bungalow). I can't wait to have her back for our next project!
