We had been out of Ontario and consequently out of our house for about ten years for work. While we were away a property management firm managed the property and we are happy with their work. When we moved back in, it was clear that the lawn was being taken over by dandelions and creeping charlie. We removed some weeds by hand but that was an impractical solution. Others had rated LawnSavers highly so we decided to give them a try. After just one season both the dandelions and creeping charlie are mostly gone. We followed the instructions from LawnSavers to do our part but clearly the great results are mostly attributable to them. They always call the day before a treatment and on one occasion where there would have been a conflict with a contractor doing renovation work they happily rescheduled. We have already signed up for next year.

Our house is 67 years old and the kitchen looked as if it had been remodelled in the 1960s. We became Homeservice Club members not long after we bought the house in 1979 and we have had only positive experiences with their contractors. We did some shopping but found that kitchen renovators tended to impose their wishes on us. The contractor who did the work through Homeservice Club asked us what we wanted and asked us to set a budget. He began with a rough sketch in the old kitchen and described his ideas. Before work began he presented a set of detailed drawings to us. Working with him was great because he had workable solutions that fit our budget and he welcomed our input. We asked for some modest changes during the project and we were always accommodated. Of course some changes resulted in a change in the price, but we were always told in advance what the situation would be. On the few occasions when he was delayed in traffic, he always advised us of the problem and provided a new estimate of his arrival time. In the end there were no surprises and the contractor was as pleased with the final result as were we. Homeservice Club has never disappointed us.

Sam was great in all respects. Always on time with excellent ideas. A few changes during the project were no problem.
