Assisted Review

An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.

When we decided to undertake a major house renovation the most difficult part was selecting a contractor. We had interviewed several contractors and met to discuss our renovation plans, an received a wide range of proposals, but in the end the choice for us was very clear and evident. Klondike Contracting was very professional in their meetings, took the time to understand our needs and our priorities within the renovation scope, and were very forthright and upfront about the costs, timelines and what to expect. We had several other proposals offered from other contractors, and many at lower costs, but in the end we wanted a firm that was professional, trustworthy and delivered high quality workmanship. We selected a fixed-price contract, and true to their word after a very extensive renovation process the project was delivered on cost to the exact penny. Klondike advised us up front that major renovations do have the potential to uncover surprises once walls are opened up, and we had our fair share of renovation dilemmas to deal with along the way. In all situations options were presented with clear cost implications, as well as creative solutions to manage through them. What was most appreciated by us was the level of professionalism Klondike brought to their work. We have heard so many horror stories from people that have had a negative experience dealing with construction renovations we were apprehensive about the entire process. Once the project got underway we knew we were in good hands with our Project Manager. Another great experience has been the after-contract support under their 2 year warranty. We are currently working through an issue with 2 deficient hardwood planks in the kitchen where the finish is chipping off, after contacting Klondike they dispatched the flooring experts who came in and replaced the wood flooring planks without question. In the end, what we were most concerned about was finding a company we could trust and would do the job right the first time. Klondike delivered on their promise and exceeded our expectations. But most importantly, the quality of workmanship far exceeded our expectations, out home has been transformed into a living space straight out of design magazines. Klondike Contracting helped our vision become a reality. We would not hesitate to recommend Klondike to anyone considering a quality interior renovation project.
