The Digging Dogs team worked with us to replace our broken down driveway and front walk in the Fall of 2022. We knew we wanted the most eco-friendly option, but otherwise needed help with the design. Avi was the only estimator we met who both took our priorities seriously and worked together with us to make the design happen. He was more than patient with my questions; respectful and informative with his answers; and creative with his ideas about how to achieve what we wanted while keeping the budget manageable. Once the work started, James and Adam and their team were wonderful. Keeping us advised of progress; rolling with the inevitable "surprises" that can alter a plan; keeping the "important plants" safe; and even humouring my young kids' interest in the machinery that showed up onsite! The work looks great and we have been getting many compliments from the neighbours! We are hoping to get them back again soon to fix up the backyard!

From the first "Help! We have a puddle!" call to the day the work was finished, Frank was knowledgeable, thorough, detailed and communicative. He assessed our situation thoroughly, presented our options clearly, and provided a detailed and professional estimate for the work. As with so many old East York houses, there were "surprises" once the work started. Frank was flexible and resourceful in dealing with these changes. He quickly connected us with another tradesperson who could deal with the issues outside of his scope and had strong relationships with suppliers so that surprises did not turn into lengthy delays. His crew was cheerful, respectful and hard-working - even welcoming the curious eyes and questions from the children who live here too. Most importantly to me, Frank kept me informed throughout the project of what was happening - with frequent knocks on the door "I want you to see this". He clearly, patiently and respectfully handled all my questions, "what ifs" and "tell me again why's". I would happily recommend Frank and his team to anyone considering waterproofing projects. Michael completed two home inspections for us as we were shopping for our new home. He was easy to contact and able to book our inspections on a tight timeline. He was extremely thorough, knew his trade, and took the time to explain to us what he was seeing. He was able to explain things in an easily accessible way to those not familiar with house construction lingo. His written report was thorough and delivered promptly.
