Rico is a solid hvac service technician. He was thorough, professional and competent. He pointed out things that I never knew before. Also, he took his time and didn't fly out of here in 15 minutes like some other techs that preceded him. Thanks again Rico. :)

They are always courteous and professional. I say their technical competence at all things hvac is unsurpassed in the industry. We've had other techs from other companies out to do certain tasks but, they just don't stack up to the techs at Natural Choice Whitby. :)

Our dryer was making a very loud clicking/rattling/thumping sound. So I called repair care and I was very impressed with everyone. Professional all the way from the agent on the phone to the repair tech. The courteous phone agent set the appointment and the repair tech. took approximately 30-40 minutes to completely fix the problem. Thanks again. :)

Great work guys thanks. Everything was done in a timely and professional manner. Our water heater broke down on a sunday and the next day everything was up and running with a new water heater.

We needed shutters after our basement was finished. So, we fired up homestars.com and found Brooklin Blinds. Mark came out and measured, let us know what the next steps were and, within a few weeks, we had 3 really nice shutters installed for our windows in the basement. On the day of the install, Mark brought Trevor, Ken and a few more people from his crew. They were all great. They respected our home, cleaned up after themselves and Trevor shared 7 key points regarding the operation and care of our new shutters. I will recommend Brooklin Blinds to anyone in our circle of friends/family. THANKS GUYS!!! :)

Greg was very professional and very thorough. We've been looking for a good plumber for a while and we're happy to report we'll be calling Mr. Rooter back whenever we need subsequent plumbing services. *****UPDATE***** We had Greg back (March 2016) because the pull out hose on our handset faucet started to leak. So, he replaced it with a new faucet. As expected, Greg did an excellent job from beginning to end.

John has worked his magic on our home again! In 2013 we had John create a new stair case for us just after we moved into our new home in Whitby. He did such a great job we thought we'd get him back to do a major overhaul for our dated kitchen. Well, my wife and I are very happy with the job he did! We now have a very beautiful white kitchen that really opens up the entire space. You can see John's carpentry skills and talents throughout the entire kitchen! His attention to detail and his ideas really manifested into something unique and beautiful for us. THANKS JOHN! :)

A family just up the street from us experienced a break and enter in their home approximately a week or so before the Christmas of 2014. Obviously, my wife and I were very concerned about this. I talked to a number of people I know in the security and law enforcement industries and they all said in order to prevent a break in we had better reinforce our main level doors. So, I did my research and came across George's company. My brother in law is an engineer and he was impressed with George's solution to the number one cause of break ins, namely, a kicked in front door. So, we called George and we found both he and his crew were very courteous and knowledgeable. It took them days to install the reinforcements (torsec system) but this was because the doors in our house weren't hung properly by the home builder (what else is new). Also, I discovered George is a perfectionist and wouldn't leave our home until both he and I were satisfied with the work. It would be great if all the business people I met had both George's inventive mind and tireless work ethic!

Everyone from Cheryl at head office to Sam our salesman and our installers Randy, Peter and Wilson were all very professional. We bought a new central air conditioning system from Spring Home while we were at our old address during the summer of 2013. We were so pleased that we purchased both a new a/c and furnace from them recently (nov 2013) for our new home. Both the a/c and furnace at our new home were very close to 20 years old. We had the furnace inspected and the inspector noticed the heat exchanger was rusting and leaking. He said he couldn't guarantee it would not leak CO throughout the winter. Now, my wife and I already had spent a good chunk of change getting the house up to where we wanted it as far as renovations were concerned. But, upon hearing that we and our kids might not be safe with the old hvac equipment...well...we had no hesitation calling on the crew from Spring Home in order to make our new home as safe as possible. During the install one of the guys noticed that our water heater's exhaust vent was well over the allowable length (6'). He notified me immediately upon discovering this and told me they would move the water heater so they exhaust vent would be well under 6'. Thanks again everyone. Great job!

My wife and I love All Ontario Appliance Clinic! They have very reasonable prices for both their retail appliances and service. I have purchased appliances here for us and other family members and those appliances are still going strong after all these years! Forget those fancy shmancy, "boutique" appliance stores. We've been to them but no more. The service was horrible and the over priced appliances they sold us didn't last long at all. Also, when you deal with huge stores you have to go through several departments before you can reach anyone who can help you. Not with All Ontario Appliance clinic! The people you buy your appliances from will be the same ones who come in to service them if anything goes wrong! Now, I call that service. Take that big faceless box stores!!!

John is a very talented Finish Carpenter. When we bought our new home my wife and agreed the stair case, "had to go." It was dated and definitely wouldn't fit the style and colour of the new floors we were going to have installed. John faithfully carried out our wishes re: the colour and style of the type of stair case we wanted. It is beautiful and it's one of the first things people comment on when they enter our house. Thanks John! :)

Great to deal with. Our contractor (who installed the flooring for us) recommended going to Woodchuck and I'm glad we did. Brandon (sales staff) was very professional and educated my wife and I re: the different types of wood that were available to us. Just before the project was completed my contractor discovered he had overestimated the square footage for the job so we had to return eight boxes. I was a bit weary about returning them because I didn't think they'd take them back. But, they did and I'm thankful for that.

Consider yourself lucky if Graham is available to take on your project! He is one of the most hard working and honest General Contractors/Handyman I have ever encountered. My wife and I have had quite a few handy men work on projects for us but a precious few have been as knowledgeable, honest, talented and hard working as Graham. We weren't happy with the dated tile and laminate flooring that was in our new home. We wanted a more modern look so we purchased a dark stained, wire brushed version of hard canadian maple. So, our real estate agent (Ann Cicci - awesome in her own right :) recommended Graham to us as he had recently done a flooring project for her. It was not easy; there was some nasty-to-remove concrete board under the ceramic tile and it took a lot of hard work on Graham's part (and his son Greg) to remove it. I think a lesser contractor would have run when he saw what was ahead of him but not Graham. He put his head down, got to work, and finished the job to our satisfaction. I wish I could say that about everyone who has worked on home improvement projects for us but I can't. If you want your home improvement job done right the first time by a hard working professional I happily recommend Graham :)

Most "pleasant" moving experience I've ever had! Paul, Brandon, Charles plus more employees of this company were quick, efficient, courteous and gentle with our stuff. My wife had approx. Seven boxes of fine, bone china that she inherited from her grand mother and not one was broken! I can't recommend these guys highly enough! I sincerely feel that If you don't get RoadRunners for your next move you are at risk. Hire these guys, sit back and relax because they'll take care of everything. They even disassembled and reassembled things I couldn't do! Thanks Paul :)

I am very sad to report that my family will no longer be doing business with this company anymore. I am giving them one star in honour and appreciation of the good technicians we've dealt with over the years. I noticed that our Central Air Conditioning unit wasn't working several sundays ago (before the first, "heat wave" of 2013. I called and Direct Energy sent out a tech the next day (monday). He cleaned the outside chiller unit, told me he'd order the necessary part and it would more than likely be installed two days later(wednesday). Wednesday came and went with no word from the company or the tech. The next day (thursday) my wife gets a call from Direct Energy. The person on the phone asked my wife if she wanted to order the part?????????????????? I wasn't very happy when I heard this so I phoned them back and they said they'd send a tech out with the part on the saturday of the same week. So, saturday roles around and I get a call from their tech. He states that since it's raining out he won't be able to do the job. Well, as far as I could see the rain in my area was very spotty and there were clear breaks that lasted 20-30 minutes! I'm no CAC expert but I'm pretty sure the job could have been done within that time period. So, he then states that he'd set an appointment for someone to come out the next monday. So, on monday a COMPETENT tech shows up. He ran in and out of our house a few dozen times. And, after an hour plus states, "I'm sorry, I don't know what happened before [with the previous tech's visit] but your CAC is shot...it's not working." And, that week was the start of the first heat wave in this area for 2013! So, we spent $135. for them to clean our broken unit??? It's sad to think that customer service is essentially non existent for this company.

Ismael Khalkhali came to my rescue when I needed the mechanism/gears replaced in our exterior, swing out picture window. The company that manufactured and installed it is now defunct and I tried calling other window companies but no one would give me the time of day since they didn't originally manufacture/install the window. Ismael was quick, courteous and competent. He and his company are quite a find. I'm not handy at all so he really got me out of a pickle! He even repaired the handle of the window in my son's bedroom for free!!!

Everyone (from Cheryl who answers your calls; to Sam Lu their sales rep; to Their installers) I've dealt with in this company is a consummate professional. Cheryl and Sam are very knowledgeable and helpful re: the products they sell. The installers are very skilled, quick and courteous. These guys actually went above and beyond the call of duty. It started to rain Half way through the installation. So, what did they do? Did they high tail it out of my house? No, they waited for over one and a half hours in their van until the rain let up so they could continue working. Don't think that's a big deal? Well, search this site for my review of their biggest competitor and see how big a deal it really is! Oh ya, and the final price for the CAC, the taxes and the installation were over $1,000. less than what their biggest competitor is charging! What more can you ask from an H.V.A.C. company!? Seriously, I'm surprised they haven't put their competition out of business yet! Now, I could go on and give you the negative details re: the lousy experience I recently had with their biggest competitor but I want to make this review as positive as possible because these guys worked their back sides off for me and I think whoever reads this will appreciate it if I just stick with my experiences with Spring Home. Suffice it to say; If you want the best H.V.A.C. service/products in Southern Ontario I think...no I KNOW you can't do better than Spring Home. Thanks again guys :)

Everyone representing this company from Mike Lanno the salesman to Dennis and Frank the installers were very professional and delivered what they promised. Let's face it; some window replacement companies run their businesses with as much integrity as a seedy used car sales lot. Not this company. They simply helped us choose a window that met our needs, installed it and that was that. We received what we were promised. Professional from front to back! I was a bit leary of the installation process before the window was installed. I'd heard stories about some window installation crews that made huge messes of their customer's properties. But not Dennis or Frank! They were very respectful of us and our property. They even swept up the saw dust the installation process had left on our driveway! I can't remember the last time an installation crew from any home improvement company was that thorough! And Mike Lanno the salesman was very knowledgeable when it came to the specific features of all the windows the company offered and which window would be suitable for our living room. Great work guys! Tom
