Gord in Mill Creek

I used Highland to move from a condo to a house last year, and I wasn't overly impressed with them. The three guys hired were nice enough, but one would rather chat than work, and they had to be watched like a hawk. They claimed they arrived 15 mins before they did, and worked 15 later. Yes, that's only 30 mins, but at $200/hour, that's $100 I shouldn't have to pay. They also damaged a wall in the house, which wasn't a big problem as we still had to paint it. I purchased their insurance, but quickly discovered it's a waste of money as they aren't responsible for many things (if something is in a box, and it breaks, they aren't responsible for it if you packed it...). It's hard to find good movers, and it really depends on the people that show up at your door, but I felt I overpaid for what they delivered.

We had "Jim the Boarder" come in to repair a room that was damaged due to a flood. He replaced drywall on the ceiling and walls, and did a great job. It was back together in no time, and you can't even tell the walls were damaged. Great job, and I'd recommend him to anyone looking for a drywaller. Because it was done under insurance, we don't know the cost for his services.
