I contacted three different companies for this work, and Vel stood out right from the time Randy came out to visit the site to make the quote. He is very personable, and explained everything in detail, as well as being encouraging in doing it the 'right' way (ie. getting a permit from the city). Stay away from those that say you don't need a permit. After that, working with Kim on the phone and through email to answer any questions I had regarding the quote, and what was included, was always great, always prompt, always helpful. Next, they told me the work would take three days (I had two bigger than normal windows, with oversized window wells that required a much bigger well than normal), and indicated what would be done on each day.... well, they did it exactly as they indicated, and everything went smoothly. They created very little mess (which they cleaned up) inside and outside the house, and the final product looks great! One of my other basement windows needed a repair to the screen, and Randy fixed that without even asking (I went to fix it a couple days later and noticed it was fixed!)! It's the little things like that that make you smile. A great, organized, quality company. I can't recommend them highly enough!
