Dale's Plumbing is one of the worst plumbing contractors in New Jersey. I originally called Dale's Plumbing when I saw that water in the toilet did not flush. While the plumber was on time and used video technology, he wasn't able to fix the problem. As for professionalism of the plumber, I thought he was not that professional as he failed to fix the problem. After flushing $100 down the drain (pun intended), I was forced to seek another contractor who got the job done professionally.

In October 2009, we decided that we need to replace a patio door. With windows and patio doors now being tight and efficient, this was a great value over the 20 year old patio door. At first, we went into Lowes in Princeton to get our project started. The sales manager was very nice and respectful and explained to us the various options. After deciding on what patio door would make most sense, we scheduled an appointment for measurement. The contractor who did the measurements was very respectful of us and of our home. After he had done the measurements, we scheduled an appointment for installation. The installation contractor was the same one who had done the measurements. Once again, he was very careful not to leave any stains on the carpet and promptly cleaned up after he was finished. Overall, I would recommend Pella Windows and Doors as an excellent window company

In September 2009, I received a Gold Medal promotion in the mail to test-drive a new furnace and/or air conditioner for free. Jumping on the bandwagon, I called Gold Medal and scheduled a free estimate. THe person in charge of the estimate arrived on time and was very respectful when he talked to us about the various options. Being that both the furnace and the air conditioner were more than 20 years old, he told us that it would make sense to replace both if we wanted to increase the value of our home. In total, the atmosphere of the estimate was relaxed and non-rushed. After we agreed that we should replace the furnace and the air conditioner, the estimator gave us the price that we would be responsible for after the test drive is over. It was not that bad, around $8500. After we agreed on the price, we scheduled an appointment for the actual replacement which was just two days later. Fast forward two days to the appointment time. The contractors were on time, even a bit early, and as soon they came in the home, they started working. They were very respectful of our home and of us, being careful not to leave any footprints on the carpet and floors. Although the whole project took the whole day, the whole result was very satisfying. Now we have an excellent furnace and AC for many years to come. I would definitely recommend Gold Medal. They are the best in Central Jersey.
