I hired Jonathan to work on my home in Cabbagetown, he wantes 50% upfront which I should have never paid in retrospect, but nonetheless he purchased the drywall (maybe $200 worth??) but never returned to install it. He also scratched my original hardwood floors bringing in the drywall (unfortunate, but not the end of the world). There has been no follow up or communication for the last two months regarding the balance of money I paid without any work being completed, so I will be hiring a new contractor to complete the work.
