Action Roofers comes highly recommended as they have been in the business for a number of decades. I contacted the owner John, who had a look at my cedar shake roof (which was 23+ years old) and he confirmed that it was due to be replaced. He gave me a quote which was slightly more than the lowest bid and significantly less than the highest. I picked his company, because he took the time to explain what work needed to be done and he was forthright in his approach. When I informed him that he had the job, we confirmed it with a handshake.(This is important when you consider company goodwill and the integrity of the owner). A few weeks later, the crew showed up at my house and they immediately set to work. They had all the old roof removed before the day was out. They installed 3/8" plywood and a titanium underlay prior to installing Moire Black shingles. In addition they added raised ridges and a new skylight. Upon completion, the crew cleaned up their worksite and they their equipment and debris.The whole project took two and a half days and I am very satisfied with the work. A couple of my neighbors commented that they were impressed with the workmanship and are inquiring if they could hire this company to replace their roof.
