If you check my reviews, you will see that I pride myself on giving positive feeback when companies do good work for my family or my business, but in this case I am sorry to say I would never use these people again, nor would I refer them to anyone. Needing good service for our business and our home, we prepaid a considerable amount for plowing, icing and shoveling throughout the season, for BOTH places, and this company was dreadful. The $600 was for our home, and it was nearly double that for the business. Throughout this horrible winter, despite many several-inch snowfalls, they came rarely if at all. When they did come, they were very late (often a day or two after the snowfall), the plowing was incomplete, very messy, and they never did our sidewalk or the walkway to the house properly at all (although again, it was discussed thoroughly and prepaid). In St. Catharines, they fine you if your sidewalk isn't cleared, and we discussed it thoroughly before signing the contract. Nevertheless, when they actually did it at all, they would only clear half of it, and only in a very narrow strip (not the whole thickness of the sidewalk, or the whole length). At our home, we received notices from the city about it on more than one occassion and my husband had to go out and clear the walkway, despite our having paid for it. Over the winter holiday they close the office for two weeks, and are impossible to get a hold of even when there has been very heavy snow and you can't get out of the driveway. Once, they were on site and I tried going outside to speak to them. They drove away, knowing I wished to speak to them, and when I called immediately following, they told me the truck was broken and they could not return. Meanwhile, our next door neighbors drive was plowed and sidewalk shoveled every snowfall like clockwork by a different provider. Needless to say, we will never use this company again.

I always get multiple quotes when starting a job with a contractor. After meeting with Bob (the son part of Bob & Son) there was no further question of who we would use. The interaction was professional, comprehensive, and he addressed issues I had not even thought of. We had a fairly large job, and needed to meet a tight deadline in order to be prepared for an event on site. The company got the work done within the time frame requested, going above and beyond the call of duty in many cases and assisting us with various small tasks that needed to be done on site, without charging more than the original quote. Cannot thank Bob and his team enough, and we certainly intend to use them in the future.

We were putting our home in Mississauga on the market last summer and needed to get our lawn into decent shape fairly quickly. We had heard good things about Nutri-Lawn and contacted them to begin the work, being very clear about the fact that we were moving. We ordered a fairly comprehensive program which included seeding, fertilizer, weeding and aeration. Scheduling the treatments was a bit slower than we thought we'd arranged with the company at our initial interview, but once they began, the lawn did start to look better and we were quite pleased with the result. They send an email before they come each time. My only significant caution to customers is this: I received an email today with an invoice for "scheduled treatments" for my old house for this year amounting again to approximately $370. I wrote back immediately to remind them that we were not living there any more and to please amend their records. I also called them, just to be sure. They agreed to take me off the list. But when I suggested to the scheduler that they find out if someone is ordering treatment for the following year prior to sending out the "schedule" she disagreed, saying they do send out the emails. However, had that email ended up in a spam folder, or been missed, or I'd changed emails, they would just have started coming to service a house that did not order services for this year at all and where the people they were going to bill no longer lived. Given this policy, even though the work was good, I'd be hesitant to use them again. Should you use them, just make sure to be clear in writing if you are not going to use their services again the following year, or if you are amending your agreement.

I am more grateful than I can say that we found Natanael and his team. We were selling our home and had some major renovations to undertake, including the complete renovation of the master bathroom (including plumbing issues), partial renovation of the main bathroom, new laminate floors on two levels of our side-split, and painting throughout much of the home. From our first consultation until the work was completed we were more than satisfied. He and his entire team went above and beyond the call on all fronts. Small things can always go wrong when doing such a lot of work, but even the tiny issues that arose were always addressed immediately & comprehensively by Natanael. Long story short, our home received an excellent offer within 48 hours of being put on the market, and I am sure much of that was P & P's wonderful work and attention to detail. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a contractor in the GTA and however far from there they are willing to go! We are even hoping to use him at our new home in St Catharines ! Sincere thanks go out to Natanael and Mario, Mauricio, Joel, Yorlandy, Antonio and Asael! I hope I haven't forgotten anyone. Well done, gentlemen!

I cannot say enough about Dawson Fence Repair. One wall of our fence came down during the winter in a storm, and we had four posts that needed replacing on an older fence. I always do my homework before hiring a contractor, and they came highly recommended from reviews online. Nevertheless I always get several quotes. Lee Dawson's was the most reasonable price, and he was the most polite and professional. Although he was booked more than two months in advance, Lee made the effort to squeeze us in, because he knew we were putting our house on the market soon. They came promptly on the day expected, were polite, friendly and professional to both us and our neighbors, and their work was beautiful. We have an older fence which is stained, as you'll see in the photo, and he also instructed us how long to wait to stain the new posts. Though they did some additional work to a few sections of the fence that were broken around the yard, they didn't charge an extra penny over their already reasonable quote. Such customer service, work ethic and professionalism are often difficult to come by these days. We are putting a pool in our new house in Port Dalhousie, and I have already asked if Lee and his team will come down to put in the new privacy fence we will need there. Cannot recommend them highly enough.
